That last play really showed how far he has come. 4-5 games ago he would have already tucked the ball and tried to beat the defender with his legs. Now he is keeping his eyes downfield, thus completing the pass to Sutton. Love seeing it.

Reminds me of the season opener against the Seahawks. He looked overwhelmed, flustered by the crowd noise in Seattle, and desperate to make a play. It's amazing how much this offense has changed since then. Gave KC a run for their money, and even though we (Broncos fans) lost I'm looking forward to future games.

The last play was better than anything we had the right to hope for when we drafted Nix. Rookie QB at Arrowhead leading what should have been the game-winning drive. Needing a third-down completion to "seal" the game. Pressure doesn't get much higher than that. This is already the best-case scenario for the Broncos. This is still a rebuilding year with a ton of dead money on the books. We've got our QB/Head coach combo that we've been searching for since Manning retired. Everything else this season is just playing with house money. If we make the playoffs, it's incredible. If we don't, we've still set ourselves up to compete next season. This is a young and extremely talented team who have all bought into the system. So excited to see them continue to develop.

Well, they had 25 minutes before that last drive to score three points and didn't, so whole that drive was perfect up to the point special teams entered the field, you put yourself in a situation where the special teams cannot make a mistake. That said, it's crazy to me how some fans are reacting like this is the worst loss ever. I have never felt so good after a defeat as I'm feeling right now. Hell, I've felt worse after some wins in the past three or four years! We lost to the undefeated AFC leader with the best QB/coach duo in the NFL right now because of ONE play of their special teams. Back to the actual topic of this channel, Bo progress is astonishing. The footwork made a huge jump about three games ago. My between the lines reading of Sean Payton comments is that they did not want to come down heavy on his footwork because they didn't want to mess up with how evasive he is, so it's ironic that the worst in this game were his upfield sacks. I hate it when QBs do that, trying to shake defenders by zigzagging while going in the wrong direction. And, on top of that, it's also on them to read the defense correctly and make sure the O line knows who got what, so the mistake started before the ball even got snapped. Or am I talking crap here?
@ChristianFitch683 күн бұрын
I found it interesting on the shot play (around the 7 min time stamp), when we go to the tight, it actually looks like Bo tries to tuck the ball to sell QB run before coming back to the backside flat? Was it really trying to take the deep shot or was the #1 option always that flat on the far side hoping to draw everyone to the right side with the fake QB run? Or am I just way off and QBs will just tuck the ball like that sometimes on a roll out?

@@economicsmadeeasy5266 Bingo, I think this rings true Bo seems like he'd learn from Lamar. People forget he's a true dual threat qb still (Bo). I'm glad to see him expand his passing game, though - you gotta excel in the pocket or on the run in order to have a shot at the SB in this league. Not with ref assistance. The game was ruined from the phantom illegal contact call on that sack. Can other owners make gd noise please? What is the deal with KC ref help. I've got a top 1% IQ. I can see patterns. Shoot, I could run stats proving it's not chance. I was hopeful in this game but nope, it happened again and bailed out KC yet again. Never should have been a FG try. Chiefs were getting beat straight until ref tampering. Sick of it. Pretty much ruining the fun knowing it's basically bull crap with a predetermined outcome. Although, KC looks spent. Going to be tough bailing them out every game looking like garbage on offense.
@Markephillips773 күн бұрын
@ I agree that the illegal contact call was soft, but the Broncos had other chances to win and still could have won if they didn’t get blown up on the field goal try. I think they shouldn’t have gotten cute with trying to get the ball on a specific hash. The kick was close and the hashes are close enough together that it doesn’t make that much of a difference. If they hadn’t have done that, the Chiefs likely wouldn’t have blocked the kick and the Broncos win. Next week, the Chiefs play Buffalo. If they lose that game, then week 18 will no longer mean anything and it could be the Broncos playing for a playoff spot. I think we win at home in week 18.
@darrelsapp12322 күн бұрын
Unfortunately, on that last ball, had he gotten it out in front of Sutton a little bit that could have been a touchdown. Regardless, it was still a nice play and Denver should have won this game. How the left side of the line just got completely obliterated on the field goal is beyond me.
