Too much pretext to his questioning. Better to ask a simple question first and follow up with his own opinions/facts about the racquet.

Overall a good review guide and review ultimately you have to demo. My biggest challenge is to get any response from ATT. Emails, phone calls, FB, Insta and even WhatsApp never get answered. If they offer to give Swing Weight, Balance and Weight on each racquet etc when buying pairs it will really help.

I really enjoyed the review format. I agree with other comments that some of the questions were a little leading, but that’s ok, like you said this is the first time out with this format. My view is stick with it.

A good way to describe the GP: it’s like a Ferrari, when you put pedal to the medal that’s when it shines. The faster you swing, the more the raquet gives you. Facts.

I just got this and it just might be the best raquet I have ever tried. For my game, it’s perfect. It has everything I could ever want. Solid, yet buttery soft. And even though it has. 330 sw, it does not feel like it. I’m in love.

Gravity has a softer feel, denser string patterns offer more control. I'd say the speed offers more power and topspin generation

I would like to ask for your advice. I would like to buy a new racket as I unfortunately broke my old one (Gravity Pro 1st generation). I am looking for a racket that is similar to the Gravity Pro, but if possible minimally lighter (when a game goes on for more than 2 hours I sometimes notice slight fatigue.) and gives a little more "feedback". For me, the GP always felt a bit too "muffled". My previous racquets: About 15 years ago I started with an old Fischer racket of my father from the early 90s. My first own racket was a TopSpin x95 I loved the direct feel with it. I could control the balls well with it. Babolat Pure Strike 16/19 3rd Gen. I didn't get on with it and sold it after 3 months. Couldn't control my shots with it. Head Gravity Pro: I immediately played better with it. However, I never liked this "dead" feeling. Nevertheless, I've been playing it for almost 4 years. To sum up again: So I'm looking for a racket that is as similar as possible to the Gravity in terms of the "result", but if possible slightly lighter and a little more feedback. Sorry that I can't describe it in more detail, but I don't know anything about rackets. That's why I'm asking for your help and I'd like to thank you in advance. (Sorry also for my bad English) One more thing about my game. I am 1.91 m tall and weigh 108 kg. So I'm not particularly agile but still quite strong... I would describe my technique as very good, although not perfect. I have a strong first serve, but it's not consistent enough. I go to the net rather averagely often. I play a one-handed backhand and slice very often. I'll just name everything I can think of, maybe it will help to better assess me. Once again, thank you very much.

Taylor Fritz plays with 299 grams...kmon man, 295, 300 is the weight for almost every club player...I use to play with prestiges, old speeds at 315, 320 grams...and really love them, but, you have to be able to swing them for 2 hours...
@allthingstennis

Yeah fully agree the mp will be very popular at 295 with club players - for these players they wanted more weight

Could you break down a bit more comfort/control/power between pro staff v14 97/X, the blade 98 18x20 and the gravity tour/pro? Would you say the Tour is the winner in most of these categories? Edit: maybe to clarify, I'm coming from a v7 18x20 and I wish I had a bit more control without sacrificing too much power. Wondering if the gravity/staff/prestige lineup would be worth trying. I really didn't gel with the speed pro, was too slow through the air, too thick of a beam.
@samster978
@samster978 Жыл бұрын
i usually use a pro staff 97, comfort of gravity pro was on another level. No harshness on the arm, felt so plush. I couldnt miss, just took some adjustment in hitting due to the string pattern. I also wasnt that impressed with the speed pro

I just bought the previous version of the Gravity Pro taking advantage of the current sale price. It felt a bit "weak" without customization, kind of unstable also, but after adding 4 grams @ 12 o'clock and 3 grams at 3 and 9 o'clock it felt amazing.

@@allthingstennisI have to agree with OP- with 16x19 it'd be perfect replacement for my worn out old radical microgel pro 100s- gravity is essentially the same mold with the teardrop shape and wider upper hoop that I got so used to- new radicals are much narrower and when you add 98 head size, it becomes much smaller relatively.

I use the old 2016 radical XT MP at 295g and even have some 260g radical MP/Lite/Rev models which are obviously way to light but im able to hit this hard and serve at a comfortable 120mph. Would you guys reccomend me to go up to 315 or something along those lines because if i play 2-3 days in a row my tennis elbow will start to act up.

👎🙅🏻🤦🏻‍♂️ When people are doing reviews you shouldn't introduce your suggestions or bias before they hit or give you their impressions. Even comments like "I feel this will suit you better," injects bias. That's a no-no for basic scientific or psychological studies.
