Cheers to making the most comprehensive demonstration of the v9! I just demoed the 100 last week, but looking forward to the 98 next week.

The Blade v9 is very forgiving, Highly recommended to any level of player looking for a control focused racquet but still has access to power and spin. The Blade feel is unique, I love it but some may not like it very much. As someone who played the old v2 Blade since it came out, this is a great refresh if you are coming from an older racquet.

Great video, with two superb players that gave good insight. 👍🏼

But all the Tour players use the Pro Model of this racket, which has a different spaced stringbed, beam thickness, handle contour, and more of a box beam. They may be called by the same name, but they are two completely different rackets other than hoop size, string pattern, and frame weight.

Great review! Just wondered Luke switched to 16x19 not 18x20 as his previous racquet is Percept 97d(18x20)?

He loved the feel of it I guess , we will get him to extensively test the V9 18x20 too

As someone who's had both pro staffs and blades, i defnitely preferred the blade in this iteration. Hit with both when demoing some rackets recently and the pro staff is so unforgiving, you have to hit it sweet or it feels like you've shanked it. The blade just felt so loose and easy in comparison. I don't hit a big ball either and I felt way more comfortable to go for my shots with the blade

If Aaron wanted more weight out of the blade, has he considered the blade pro v9?

the blade pro is not a blade ! and the blade pro is also 305 lol

It’s the swing weight that puts it above the prostaff v14

When are you stocking the blade 100 ? And have you got a flex machine

We have just got the 100s in. In terms of maxhines, we have a yonex precision scan, but no rdc machine

@@smashthestateXLast model felt totally mushy and ambiguous. If you're not a good player just start with that instead of pretending you know better. I suppose they'll feel the same if you shank every ball.
