The ones complaining do not know the art and complexity of this creation in the way it is meant to be. Just in the way Chanel has shown the elegance with Bleu de Chanel, they did once again with Superleggera. Going against the hype of Elixir room filling fragrances which just scream for attention but going for a Signature Scent elegance you can wear all year round for people that just do their thing. Thanks for going a sophisticated grown up way, Chanel.

Sorry mate I respect your thoughts, but as a fragrance collector & reviewer I found this new release by Chanel a very mediocre release! We've been expecting more than this! I even perfered a new flanker of egoiste rather than this! Already allure sport was the flanker of Allure Homme 👎 enough of flankers !

@@belairscents I know what you mean. I'd also like to see something like "Rubin de Chanel" with a dark red classy bottle or maybe "Noir de Chanel" with a classy black presentation. You have to find a good scent profile and marketing for that though. The market is already saturated with people who need the next "new thing". Calling it mediocre (scent wise) is, just in my opinion, a bit harsh. A lot of people said the same regarding Bleu during the release. I was rocking the pre reformulation back in the day and went through like 5 bottles as my sig scent until the oakmoss removal, which took a lot of depth out of it. So i just respect it due to being a modern version of the line. It has those quality ingedients and depth and is a good middlething between the old Allure HS and BDC. The other allures (OG AHS and Eau Extreme) are too sweet in the dry down and are quite weak after the reformulation. This one keeps a whole work day and there is alot of olfactory fatigue in this, so people think its not lasting. Was also the same with OG BDC which kept on going for 10+ hours straight in office environments. To round it up its really well crafted for a fresh scent and more all around than Aventus Cologne. A lot of people are craving for something like Bleu de Chanel Elixir - which has no class whatsoever. So i prefer this take which reminds me on the good old BDC days.

This one is more linear and aquatic with an intensity like the 2 Egoistes but they are completely different from each other

Nothing special about 👎 I had more expectations from Oliver Polge as a inhouse perfumer at Chanel! His father works is much more richer than his!

the way fragrances are produced has fundamentally changed though since the days of Jacques. There are lots of unisex fragrances at Chanel.

Glad you agree. Chanel thinks they can throw anything at us and we'll just clap and say "WOW, AMAZING"? Nope! If it's worthy then yes but this was garbage. Try harder whoever made this... if this is the best they've got... fire them and get someone fresh with new ideas.
