It is different. I know it took me a long time before I did a solo trip. Even before then I still loved it. Meeting others is the best. Its one of the thinks I look forward too the most. Thanks for watching. Happy New Year.

I get the appeal of a car over a motorcycle but it is two very different experiences and I love both. Good chat!
@MinnowMoto12 күн бұрын
I've always looked at the car as a tool to get the job done. Everyone shares the same experience. Breaks or scenic spots. The bike its just me, or generally like minded people. Thanks for watching.

I have never wished to be in a car anywhere either, lol!

I rode my PA from northern Canada to Las Vegas and many places in between in 2023. Filmed it all as well. Haha. Have you ever seen someone running with a smile on their face. Haha. All I’ll say about that. 2025 riding my 22 PA to the Arctic Ocean. 🌊

The Artic Ocean! That is amazing. That is a crap ton of smiles. :D Thanks for watching.

You're right, the author of that article "doesn't get it". He sounds like a non-biker, but he's writing about being a biker. Like me writing an article about the joys of being a gardener. I've been in the garden a few times, but that doesn't make me a gardener.

Happy New Year Jerry! she came up in my feed once and the first video was her asking for sponsors and such, yeah I didn't go back to her channel lol I'm the same, if I was anywhere in a car I always think I would rather be on the bike, sounds like the guy was riding because it was the "in" thing to do........only have one road trip planned so far, I do have a couple off roads things goin on, definately making this yeas Pan Am Trail Jam in Tellico Plains for sure.....
@MinnowMoto12 күн бұрын
Yeah, I have had a few people point out video asking for sponsors. That's sad. I generally stay away from those. too. The good news is Craig doesn't ask for money. haha. Thank for watching. That trail Jam sounds like fun. I think I'm sticking to the pavement this year.

@ well, i do have a husky 701 for dirt, but the pan america will def make the trail jam

I'm not buying you a beer, Jerry. Luckily for us, those that don't get the allure... go back to driving a car. Some just don't get it. And that's A-OK. Happy New Year!

Great topic, Jerry! It certainly is a subjective topic, and you're like to get a different answer from everyone who rides. I think he was a novice rider and didn't do his homework. To chastise motorcycling in his opinion is a very small view on the topic. Happy New Year to you and your family. I hope to ride with you in 2025.

@@MinnowMoto I'm going to say probably...we have a special trip planned and will be gone most of June...heading across the pond to ride Grossglockner...I guess it depends on how much money we have left, lol. I also really, really, really want to ride back out west. I missed it so much in 2024! What plans do you have so far?
@MinnowMoto12 күн бұрын
@@PurpleOnThree That sounds like a great trip! Yeah its all about the $$. Other than VAMM I'm doing thinking a week in NH around Laconia. I've gone up and did the rally stuff, normally long weekend. I want to go up and ride this year. The lighthouse tour, MA to Main. Ride around Lake Winnipesaukee, and try MT Washington. My Friend would like to run to Fl Leys. Hoping that happens. I would love to go out west. Think I will try to do that in 26. I want to take a couple weeks. I have to work out some kids stuff before that happens. Ogg And maybe a ride to see some cows when we thaw out :D
@PurpleOnThree12 күн бұрын
@MinnowMoto those sound like some great plans! Riding to the keys is fun as we've done it twice now. If you go to Maine, you have to go to four corners Park in madawaska! In New Hampshire, you need to ride kangamagus highway. Well, these are purple on three's recommendations lol. You know we also would like to in 2026 ride Route 66 again because it's the 100th anniversary! We may not have any kids at home here anymore but we still help them out a little bit sometimes so that eats into our riding budget 😅😂

Motorcycling is mostly pushing limits; your limits or societies limits and finding something you feel that's missing in your life. There's an adventure to be had just leaving the driveway or garage, "What can I get into today just by cranking the throttle and taking that country road?". Some people aren't comfortable with pushing themselves though. Everybody thinks they want adventure, but few are willing to suffer for the few thrills an adventure may bring. Sometimes motorcycling is dull, but there's always the chance that ride becomes the most amazing thing you've ever done or felt. Or maybe motorcycle enthusiasts are all lunatics and adrenaline junkies with a death wish...*flips coin*. Happy New Year!
