As an artist, I don’t think that’s really true. As an artist, when you admire and respect the individuality that sits behind artistry you wouldn’t dare take credit. You just..wouldn’t do something like that. Everyone is so unique. People’s contribution to art projects are important, and especially to the one who’s collaborating with these different beautiful minds.

" She could have easily taken all of the credit for those ideas"? Ya gotta be kidding! 100% of Janet Jackson's success was due to Jam & Lewis's musical compilations and the marketing engine of her record company. Of course, her family name opened the doors, but she has no outstanding talent on her own. She doesn't have much of a voice and is literally whispering on those hits produced by Jam & Lewis. Her videos simply copied Michael's. She is not alone as Beyonce is probably the best example of the biggest star made by producers, not talent.

The first concert I went to was to see Janet Jackson. Here I am decades later still a big fan. Much respect Miss Jackson!

Lucky! Mine was Prince Purple Rain with Sheila E. opening (amazing show). Janet's an icon & pleasure principle is one of my all-time music video faves.
