if anyone has short stubborn Asian lashes like me and is shopping on a budget, I recommend L'Oréal lash paradise in waterproof and lash sensational in waterproof! These actually keep my lashes up after curling them (unlike the non waterproof version) the lash sensational is nice for everyday/natural and lash paradise gives me INSANE lashes like lashes that touch the middle of my brows if I look up haha

I used to give up with a mascara that would leave my lashes curled all day. As an Asian with short and uncurled lashes, I love Fairy Drops. I think its a Japanese brand, but you can but it on Amazon for $11-ish. It's been a life saver.

I love this informative video! Very helpful. Please do a video about lip products. For a beginner like me, it's so confusing what is the difference between lip conditioner, lip cream, lip tint, lip paint etc. Is it just about marketing?

The difference between lip products is mainly the formula and what it is used for. Lip conditioner is used to moisturize lips so they don't become dry or cracked. Lip cream is a "creamy" lipstick thats usually matte/velvet matte. Lip tint is usually a watery formula and most of them stay on for a very long time, basically "tinting" your lips. Lip paint is just another word for liquid lipstick. They all have different uses and you can choose which one is best for your daily makeup. Hope this helps!

being someone who owns over 10 mascaras and who alternates them every day, I can tell you that if you look closely you can see a difference with the length, volume, colour, whether the mascara curls the lashes or not, etc.

I stopped using mascara a year ago and I’m so happy that I did! I always had a few lashes fall off every time I removed my makeup, and it seemed like my under eye area got darker each time? I LOVE the S-shaped wand because it is the only shape that really fits my lashline perfectly and coats my outer lashes easily without getting mascara all over my lids. But after a few years of using the Hypnose Drama, I find that I no longer really like the actual product. I feel like despite what was said in the video, it actually is a bit too much drama for my liking and not much separation. And the smell of Lancome products... Ugh why do they need to use such an excessive amount of fragrance?

Neat! Thanks. I find all these brush types frustrating and still end up with clumps. But this is helpful as there's so many styles of brushes I just give up on trying new formulas over the brushes. Even application technique seems to be affected. It's daunting for a no brainier product.

Olivia Beakman You can! It’s especially good for short/straight lashes. Or if you have blonde/fair lashes it will be easier to coat your roots so you don’t have a two-toned effect

I knew people who worked at the lancome counter and they told me to apply mascara while the primer is still wet on the lashes. The white color runs clear after a while anyway. I've done that many times and haven't had any gray color occur. I really like the primer, it helps decrease clumping and gives volume.

I have naturally very long eyelashes and I use the better than sex mascara. People ask if I'm wearing false lashes whenever I use it! It's great if you have long lashes and are good at applying mascara because it's a thinner watery formula it can easily transfer to your eyelid if you're not careful

Benefit roller lash is my go to. MAC upward lash is also amazing. I use the NYX double stacked mascara coz it comes with the fiber primer. Milk makeup mascara is ok I feel. Maybelline 😍 I have three of their mascaras... The big shot, colossal and the falsies push up drama. They're all awesome ones.

Thank you. As someone who hasn't worn any makeup at all for most of her life I just want a thin layer that's about as minimal as I can go. I just got a kind with a petal shaped wand and what appear to be rubber or plastic bristles. I didn't know to scrape off the product first and ended up with wonky shaped lashes all globbed together. Not exactly the look I was going for. Ugh.

Am I the only person who doesn’t care for length? I think long lashes destroy the shape of my eyeliner and eyeshadow. Curling the lashes also does that. I usually try to just get some volume and the colour without making them too curled or too long 😅 tell me if you know a mascara that will do that workout making the lashes look like skinny separated spikes.

It looked like the Sephora brand one, which does have close-together teeth - I personally cannot use mascara without one, it makes me insane to have ANY clumps or even extra mascara on my lashes I like them to look super separated and fine. I now use the Tweezerman brand comb, and its craaaazy good - its SUPER sharp, which helps me actually get in between the lashes, but PLEASE if you get it be careful cuz I have totally poked my eyelid and its more severe with this brand than others. Hope this helps you!

Unfortunately I have very watery eyes. I call them waterfall eyes. The slightest thing causes my eyes to water. Thus whenever I wear mascara it has to be waterproof. Luckily I don't wear makeup every day.
