Sohvi's secret frozen sweet potato soup recipe, featured in the video, great as it does not require any fresh ingredients except for the potatoes! Peel and cut 1 or 2 sweet potatoes Add some (maybe 1 dl) of dried red lentils Add a vegetable bouillon cube or vegetable stock Boil in water until sweet potatoes are soft Add 1 sliced chili Add 1 can of coconut milk Add 3 spoons of peanut butter Add 1 spoon of red curry paste Simmer for a while. Mash the whole thing with potato masher or something else, but leave "chunky". Add juice of one lime. Serve hot, enjoy! Freezing the soup is optional, although this one does get better after being reheated at least once ;)

The quality of the video of the Aurora was simply stunning, particularly the moon gliding across the screen into darkness and then the lights appearing. The way you captured the colours changing was very impressive! Happy new year to you and all followers of this amazing channel🥂🥂

More beautiful guitar work to accent the beauty of the region. Thank you for not over-saturating the color of the Northern Lights. I've done a fair amount of photography, and I see more beauty in reality than in Photoshop.

Your videos are Jems , Being from Northern Alabama in USA myself, my wife and I talk often About a life of travel. I love videos like yours showing the harbors and smaller towns I can sorta see how life might be spent living there . Its all so humbling to me, so many beautiful places I'll probably never get to vist, lots of great people Such as yourself I'll never meet and adding to that . when Im at sea or backpacking the desert . Nightly, I'll peer up at the stars . And think there's countless spectacularly beautiful places here on earth. imagine what a life of adventure would lie out there . Life is so precious . Cheers

Fish Factory? A factory is where they build something. I'll bet they dont build fish. I call those Seafood Houses. There they buy the boats catch & package it for delivery to market. I live on Californias Pacific coast. We have a harbor in our town which is home to 200 commercial fishing boats. The harbor has 6 seafood houses here. The fllet brings in Salmon, Halibut & Dungeness crab. Due to climate change, the boats are seeing calamari squid in their nets. Normally, they dont see squid north of Monterey. We are @ the Oregon border. !

S & S: Sunday, 16:35, St. Augustine, FL 80 degrees. Happy New Year. Wondrous scenery, scary seas, and an excellent first and only mate who also cooks. The Northern lights were much better than I ever saw from Southern Wisconsin. I noticed that there is an herring and photo museum where you are docked now. Wonder how many visitors they have? Continue safe sailing conditions and can’t wait to see you skiing soon. Be safe.

Good point about the pumped up images of the Northern Lights. If you haven't spent $3500 on a top end Nikon (probably Canon and a few others as well) than you might not be aware of what's now possible. My Nikon 850DX (Now 'last generation' has a huge dynamic range. I can shoot something five stops underexposed and then dial it right to a normal exposure using software. With film 5 stops was D-Max black -- meaning absolutely no information. With our eyes we can see a -5 stops reflection in glass, but it would never show up in film). Blue bio luminescence in the ocean from plankton used to only be photographed with super high speed (color) film 1 second time exposure. Now it's almost easy. One thing I've noticed with KZbinrs is that often the GoPros and cheaper DSLRs they have don't have anything like this dynamic range. Now it should be possible to find a cheaper used camera with a much better dynamic range than the otherwise amazing GoPros etc... I wish I knew more about the various cameras. I've got a 7 year old Nikon D7200? 7500? That I'll never use again and be happy to pass along. But I don't remember if the dynamic range is better than the $1000 DSLRs now being used. (Can you tell that I'm an old professional. "You're a pro, what's the best camera?" "I have no clue, I use what I have until it breaks." ) If there's any reason you can use my old Nikon I'd be happy to ship it to you. The Zoom lens has a scratch but it's not much of a problem.)
