She will never know or understand what her music has done for me. It was my crutch through my lowest point as a teenager. I lost both my parents and was put into an abusive household with other family members. By the time I was 16 I died from alcohol poisoning and her song “I don’t wanna be your girl” was the last thing I listened to before I died, and then it was the first thing I heard when I woke up in a hospital. Every time I hear this one in specific, it takes me back to how suicidal I was after I lost my parents and how my plan was to drown myself in a nearby pond. I’m 24 now with a son and I haven’t been happier. It gets better. Thank you Wet ♥️
