So long story short. Best case scenario Yazid was a drunken adulterer had the city of the Prophet sacked the grandchildren and children of the companions killed enslaved and humiliated, attacked Mecca shelled the Kaaba and set it on fire appointed a maniac who killed the Prophets grandson humiliated his granddaughters and then rather than avenge the Prophets family Yazid insulted them and refused to remove or punished ibn Ziyad. All of these action are explicitly condemned by Prophet Muhammad and if any one of the creation of Allah and anyone from the Jinns or the men who deserved to be cursed it would be Yazid but cursing in general isn't allowed. Then what do we do with these Ayat that allow cursing? Indeed, those who disbelieved and died while they (were) disbelievers, on them is curse of Allah, and the Angels, and the mankind, all together. 2:161 Those who annoy Allah and His Messenger, Allah has cursed them in this world and the Hereafter, and He has prepared for them a humiliating punishment. 33:57

Can you prove he killed him with 100% certainty? There are conflicting narrations. Furthermore even if he did, it still does not back up the 12er religion. The basis of 12erism if based on history is very troubling indeed. How can u base your whole theology on history?

Why is there even conflicting narrations about such a known fact? Because someone in history wanted to change the narrative.... who was that? The abbasid caliphate who wanted the followers of the ahlulbayt suppressed and quiet.... he support ulema to make their own madhabs and jaffar as sadiq (as) was the best scholar of his time... abu hanifa and imam shafi studied under our 6th imam... our 6th imam taught your madhabis about true islam but yall held on to the washed and edited version of islam that was passed and thrown around by these power hungry, self appointed monarch families.... true islam was preserved with ali then hassan and hussain, then sajjad then his son al baqir, then his famous son jaffar as sadiq the great islamic scientist... the teacher of jaber ibn hayan (father of chemistry known in the west)... Why should i throw away what jaffar as sadiq (the truthful) has to say about karbala and listen to whispers and rumours???? Jaffar sadiq told us clearly that hassan made a treaty with muawiyaa to give the caliphate back to the rightful owners chosen by allah, coincidently hassan is assinated before the term could end and muawiyaa put yazid in power.... yazid was an alcoholic like his father, he committed zina openly and freely, his fathers senior advisors were from rome christains... The only reason why sunnis make excuse about these individuals is because the caliphs who were in power lead majority of the muslim down this path, just like allah teaches us in the quran about previous nations and how they lost themselves to greed, power and wealth, same thing happened to the nation of muhammad... you guys make excuses about how abu bakr was the closest to the prophet and you praise him so much to a point he is seen like a hero..... but hey lets say abu bakr was one of the closest and best sahabis, what good is in them if they go against the wishes of allah in the end.... like shaytan to worshipped allah for thousands of years and was banished for not bowing to adam.... he was good too, im suprised yall dont say shaytan was rightious too... its not about righteousness, its about arrogance... arrogance is a disease that can enter anyones heart... but that type of arrogance was taken away by allah from the holy progeny of the holy beloved muhammad (saw) Habibi leave the narrations alone, study the histroy then connect the dots with narrations that fit what happened in history.. whats narrations others the chinese whispers, you cant take every narration especially on karbala and ashura because the abbasid caliphate during their reign knew 110% that the caliphate belonged to the 12 rightious caliphs from his progeny, if people knew they would revolt against the abbasid caliphate, that was their nightmare, hence when u study the lives of the 11 imams, non of them died a natural death, either poisoning, killed or put in prison all their lives.... even from prison they flourished and made a whole sect known as the ithna asharis, the 12 imams of the followers of ali.. Take all of your sahabi and leave us with ali.... couse rasoollah said the truth is with ali and ali is with the truth.... waging a war on the caliphate of your time is seen as war against allah and is punishable by death.... but when aisha wages a war on the caliph of her time (ali a.s.), yall flood the room with excuses.... Muhammad saw said if fatima, my own daughter were to commit a sin that is punishable, i would punish the same way i would punish anyone else..... But look at the sunni justice compared to the justice of muhammad and Ali... Ohhhh aisha was forgiven.... she sought forgiveness and was forgivenn..... Ummmm no she wasn't, imam ali was so angered with her, he sent her back to medina to stay in her place, if it was any other leader including omar and abu bakr she would have been mutilated and crusified...(i know because the things they did to the sahabis that didnt pay allegience to them proves it) but its ali, ali is the representive of allah on earth after the prophet... Theres are reason why saying "aisha sought forgiveness" is a big fat lie.... because when hassan passed away, she had so much hate for ali during the prophets time and now after the war, she had arrows be shot at the coffin of the flower of muhammad (hassan ibn ali).... it doesnt matter how sahabi acted during muhammad's (saw) time, it matters how they acted after the prophet (saw)... Some people can be saints in front of peoples eyes but the most wicked shayatin in private May allahs curse be upon those who hide the truth

He misquoted Imam Ahmad (rahimahullah) at the end of his talk - the imam said rather we curse generally all the zalimeen! and yazeed was not apart of the 1st blessed army, rather he took part in the expedition in which abu ayyub al ansari (radiAllahu anhu) passed away - Abu Ayyub al Ansari went on many expeditions! Yasir qadhi (may Allah guide him and us) could have done his research more critically! Ibn Jawzi rahimahullah is from the Muhadditheen no one knows the narrations better than him, its unfortunate how our position has tipped towards the ummayid side to counter the shia narrative and exaggerations.

1. Prophet Muhammad on his last sermon said an Arab is not better than a non Arab and a black is not better than white except by righteousness. Abu Baker and Omar claimed caliphate by telling the ansr that they were muhajjirin and of being from Mecca. This is what the prophet wanted to avoid, but it was all about power grabbing, they didn’t care about righteousness. 2. Islamic history been written by the Umayyad Caliphate which ruled for 90 years, Abu Sufyan was an enemy of the prophet who fought in battle of badr, uhud and other wars etc to kill our prophet, he only accepted Islam because he had no other option in the conquest of Mecca. Muawiyah son of Abu Sufyan killed Ali and Hassan, Yazid son of Muawiyah killed Hussain and his whole family in Karbala. They have fabricated the majority of hadiths and history of Islam. The most righteousness after prophet Muhammad was Ali.

Piety is not the defining characteristic of what is leader, the Main characteristic is that of “the believers run their affairs through mutual consultation”, which is why the Shoora takes place. What Abu Bakr (R) stated is the principle of this verse as per its socio-historic manifestation, which is the Arabs follow the Quraysh, the good following the good, the bad following the bad. This in fact was based on a narration of the Prophet (S) and this Quraysh also include Ali (R) and Uthman (R). The Quraysh in fact were the main addresses of the Quran and controller the Kaaba, meaning they were recognized by all of Arabia as the leaders, not the Ansar. This is why the Quraysh caravans were untouched by the plunderers of that continent, as Surah Quraysh clearly evidenced. Muslims are supposed to elect their leaders democratically, period. Spiritual status is only known to God alone. Even the likes of any women far outrank men in spiritual status before God. Islam isn’t like the politics of the Catholic Church.

DEVIATED GROUP SHOULD REMEMBER ABU BAKR N OMAR (RADHIALLAHU ANHU) Daughters were given in marriage to our beloved prophet (sal) OUSMAN (R) MARRIED 2 DAUGHTERS N ALI(R) 1 DAUGHTER. It may not be appropriate to comment on the convictions and personal acts / habits of a ruler however his actions as a sovereign are open for deliberations. Yazid does not deserve any mercy because three dastardly acts were committed on his watch: Karbala , the plunder of Madinat un Nabi and the desecration of Ka'aba. Furthermore he was not a Caliph but a Monarch as his father.
