Almami Camara - Yankadi

Almami Camara is a great balafon, bote and base drum player from Conakry (Guinee).He played in ballet Djoliba and the best local ballets.Now he is playing on the ceremonies and weddings and lead and perform with his group Feraba.He is also very good teacher.So if you will be in Conakry and want to learn balafon ask about Almami Camara !!!
On the bass djembe is Danfo.

How i know that ? by my relationships , Almami i did meet on the recording of the 2 "first" CD of Diarra Konate and i met Seydouba His Brother on the recordiing of SOlo Cheriff unreleased album called Etat de Siege ...i m very sad even if i didnt know Him at all (i met Him on a veri short period of time in Simbaya in 2005 ) but Seydouba was in my home last year ...... Almami was very talented and respected even in the Famoudou's Family ..... Blessed is His Soul . PROTECTION

Hola , how i know that ??? i did record Him few years ago on two albums of DIARRA KONATE , after that i did record SOLO CHERRIFF and there was SEYDOUBA CAMARA playing Balafon on this album , He s the Brother of Almamy ... then Seydouba (DOSS) came to france to work in a compagnie called LA COMPAGNIE DES SORCIERS de SOLO CHERIF , i was working with them too , and Seydouba i met sometimes in france , He taught me about that ,,,,, sorry for the late answer , i m far away , in Japan now . Blessed
