@@chilloutunderground "nationalistic" gets no argument but a laugh "chauvinistic" is a weak attempt. Nowhere do they infer anything about one gender or group being superior to another. Their society may have strict gender roles, that would not imply misogyny or oppression. "glorification of violence" because they talk about their nation's historical pride as warriors is just an extremely lame thing to say. Go ahead and write a similar comment on _every single other song_ that has a reference to violence. I'd love you to be ridiculed a million times over for your petty immature shots at talented artists. A simple statement about their pride gets this pettiness, meanwhile there are _countless_ songs that actually talk about extreme violence. There are entire genres of music based around violence. Seriously, go write a similar comment on them all... then go back later and read all the replies. An opportunity for you to learn and grow. Immature and inexperienced youngsters shouldn't try talking about morality in the first place. Every facet of life includes violence in some form, so quit making talking about things you don't understand. Offence was _obviously intended_ because your argument is petty and grasping at straws. You sound like a wannabe who can only criticize, but you're german so good chance you're also a racist. Actually, taking petty and uncalled for shots, the certain _social_ direction of your criticisms... yeah, you're smelling like a racist wannabe to me.

Tuareg people are the very essence of blues. Not just from the robes, which stains flesh (color is packed without the use of water). Due to their nomadic lifestyle, they have been exploited time and time again, in a seemingly endless loop of war and seeking refuge.. With that said, they are a proud people, with a rich culture. Their resilience is inspiring. Love and respect to my tuareg brothers.

As a big fan of Tinariwen and Mdou Moctar, it's always awesome to see other (especially older) artists in the same sphere get a big break here in the west. Each release is another window into a genre with such a rich history that I want to learn everything I can about it, but get so few opportunities that each one is extremely valuable.

Alright, let me tell you what I’ve been through to get here. I’ve been on this bizarre journey, a quest, if you will, for months. Every night, I’d sit down at my computer, open KZbin, and start typing the most random strings of characters into the search bar-nonsense words, numbers, combinations no sane person would ever type-anything that might somehow summon this video. I’m talking HOURS of aimless searching, just scrolling through endless recommendations, refreshing, diving deeper and deeper into KZbin’s twisted, infinite rabbit hole. At first, I thought I was just exploring, but soon it became a mission. I started obsessing. Convinced there was something out there waiting for me, hidden just beyond my reach, like some sort of legendary lost relic of the internet. People around me started noticing-“Why are you always searching weird things on KZbin?” they’d ask. But they wouldn’t understand. No one could. I knew this video was real. I could feel it. Every night, I'd go to bed frustrated, lying there thinking, "Maybe I’ll find it tomorrow." But day after day, night after night-nothing. Just failure after failure. And then, today… it happened. There it was, just sitting in my recommended feed. Just staring back at me like it had been waiting for me this entire time. The audacity of it. It wasn't me who found the video-no, I realize now, it found me. It had been watching me all along, waiting for the right moment to reveal itself, as if to say, "About time you caught up."
