Rosella, you are so lucky to have your nonna around to share these moments. I would trade my next 5 minutes of oxygen to have another day with my nonna. Watching you two stirs up so many happy memories.

What a precious show this was, realistic, pure and simple. Nonna was doing her, I loved when she was brushing the crumbs off of the bottom of Rossella's shirt. The cake looked wonderful and I can't wait to make it. Thank you for sharing the beautiful traditional recipes of our amazing Italian culture and all the little precious nuances that go with it.

Ohh, the memories of cooking with my grandmother! Although I had two older sisters, I was the one who loved to cook. Later in life I traveled for business extensively in Italy. I loved being in cucina Italiana more than being turista in the cities. Hold her close to your heart... she’s irreplaceable. One day you’ll understand. Ciao!!! ❤️🇭🇺🙏

I love watching you and your Nonna cook. I have such incredible memories of cooking with MY Nonna (Fenezia) many, many years ago before we had cell phone cameras or even camcorders. Yet, I still have vivid memories of her teaching me how to get my hands in the mix and teaching me how to "feel" and "taste" instead of sticking to the exact recipe. She never had a written "recipe" for anything she made. I think of her every day and am so grateful that she taught me how to cook from the heart, brain, nose and palate.

Rossella, out of all the videos that you have ever made with Nonna Romana, this video with Nonna reminds me so much of my Nonna. You are so blessed to be able to cook and be around your Nonna as much as you are. I wish we had cell phones with cameras when my Nonna was with us. You two are the best, I love Nonna R as if she was my own Nonna. ❤️❤️❤️

Don't raz her for cleaning up! It totally evokes the hours I spent at my Nonna's hip when I was very young. I felt like I was right back in her kitchen watching you 2 in the kitchen.

On my list for Easter!👍. Your Nonna is priceless....lol!! Reminds me of my mother, when we’re eating if anyone gets up and leaves the table for a minute when they come back the plate is in the sink being washed!🤣. Maybe before Easter you can do Soffioni di ricotta abbruzzesi for us!

Love your show so much and your wonderful Nonna. What a treasure! Can you please confirm if it is one teaspoon or one tablespoon of vanilla. I believe you said one teaspoon in the video but on the recipe online it has 1 tablespoon. thanks so much.

Fantastic tasting cake but it came flat. Not much rise. Why baking soda and not baking powder? I always thought baking powder make cake fluffy.
