Read along, listen and meditate as we read the weekly Torah Portion with Tommy. *Chapters* 00:00 - 00:20 - Intro 00:21 - 02:43 - Genesis 28:10-22 02:48 - 08:12 - Genesis 29 08:17 - 14:53 - Genesis 30 14:58 - 23:53 - Genesis 31 23:58 - 24:23 - Genesis 32:1-2 24:24 - 24:44- Outro *Bible Version:* New King James *The Torah Portion In A Nutshell* The danger of Esau’s threats of violence, force his brother Jacob to flee from his presence at the current dwelling in the promised land. Jacob thus departs to a new land in Haran in search of a wife within His mother’s household. On his way, Jacob encounters “The Place” and sleeps there, dreaming of a ladder connecting heaven and earth together, where angelic hosts ascend and descend upon it. God appears to Jacob and gives a promise to Him and his offspring to come. The next morning, the stone which he laid his head upon becomes an alter as a monument for the dwelling place of the Lord. Jacob arrives at Haran, where he stays and works for Laban, tending to the sheep of his pasture. Laban agrees to give him his younger daughter, Rachel-whom Jacob loves-in marriage. The terms for the marriage are seven years of labour for Laban. Jacob agrees. But on the wedding night, Laban gives him his elder daughter, Leah instead. A deception that swindles Jacob, one that he only discovers in the morning after the wedding night. Jacob marries Rachel, too, after agreeing to work another seven years for Laban. After fourteen years Jacob decides it’s time to return home. But Laban persuades him to remain, now offering him sheep in return for more labour. Jacob prospers greatly, despite Laban’s repeated attempts to swindle him. After another six years, Jacob leaves Haran in stealth, fearing that Laban would prevent him from leaving with the family and property for which he laboured so hard for. Laban pursues Jacob, but is warned by God in a dream not to harm him. Laban and Jacob make a pact on Mount Gal-Ed, and Jacob proceeds back to the Holy Land. ******* *More Information* Want to learn more? Shalom shalom, I am so looking forward to the day that our calendar aligns with YAHUAH'S. When the new year begins in the spring, the torah reading begins then also and everyone recognizes the sunrise to sunrise as when a day begins. Cause there are only two feast days that command an evening to evening start. HalleluYAH I have GREAT hope!! The teachers of judaisim have confused the Word and the masses as much as RC/ Protestant church and its doctrines has done. Press on, HalleluYAH!!

Hello Almond House family. Hope all is well with you. I have one request. If it is possible could you share some insights how to overcome this emptiness which is cause it's will be my first Christmas which I'm not going to celebrate. I found out about the true time of Yeshua s birthday and I was very happy to know the truth. But now it started to hit me hard all this buzz and this and that out there. Even good friends think that something is wrong with me. I found out about biblical cosmology in January, then few other things followed. It's hard to be a white crow, I'm not going to my church anymore cause people are very cold or simply sarcastic about things I share. So it would be nice if you have something to encourage people like me, who feel very alone at this time of the year. Thank you and blessings from Ireland

Shalom, Thank you for reaching out, we agree it can be difficult when breaking generational paganism. We will keep your suggestion in mind, if you haven't already we recommend you watching "Redisovering the Torah" as this may have some of the answers you are looking for, here is the link: kzbin.info/www/bejne/eqLPqoalj7BobJo With His love, Almond House Admin Team

@AlmondHouseFellowship thank you so much for taking time to reply. I honestly haven't had the slightest idea that it would get so lonely and sad. And I don't want to be walking around with a sad face having zero decorations on our house the way we had in previous years (might decorate a little for Hanukkah). Cause most of my neighbours know that I am a believer, it's not that I'm very embarrassed to be seen sad in this time of the year, I just don't want neighbours to think that to follow Yeshua is a very miserable job...I hope you understand what I mean. On the other hand I don't want to suppress my feelings and to lie to myself that I'm perfectly fine. Sometimes it's hard to be authentic and at the same time to represent Yeshua as a loving Kingl. Maybe it's just another chunk of my flesh dying slowly and painfully, maybe next week I'll be back on my feet. It's hard without a family of faith, to be honest I have no one to talk about things like that. But I keep telling loads of people (strangers and ones I know) about the truth about Christmas, biblical cosmology etc. Father brings people my way and some were very encouraged and refreshed by the things I said. Many (especially unbelievers) hate Christmas, and at least I know now that there is a real reason to hate it, it's nothing to do with anti-God behaviour. Sorry for the rambling here. I'm just in such a new place and it would be lovely if you could do a talk just sharing some of the ideas about this time of the year, cause I find many of your podcasts and other videos very helpful. You have a few very wise folk among you. I trust that the Father is guiding me as well. But I thought I'll be humble and vulnerable and reach out for help, you never know, maybe if you decide to do a talk on this topic, you might be helping loads of people. Thank you and shalom 🙏 PS Just finished listening to the teaching you shared and found it very encouraging. Yes, we need to persevere, endure, pray when times are hard to remain faithful. He never said it would be easy. Thank you so much 🙏

If it helps to put a smile on your face, know that it is pleasing to the Most High to observe His feasts only and just try to enjoy this time of year - Winter and what it means.

@@truth_freedom-r4y I understand all that you expressed. This is indeed a difficult time of year and I feel much the same as you do...but, we will, with Yahovah's strength persevere! May we both be filled with joy unspeakable, and may our hearts leap to know that we know the Father's heart and seek to honour Him. ❤

@porchlights2268 thank you for reading my comment. Father is faithful. He helped me to understand that this time is a test for me - will I stand with the TRUTH, or will I go back to the lies. Yes, it is hard to be a white crow, but that's how it always was, the TRUTH lovers were a minority at all times. Because we were a part of very weak and polluted mainstream Christianity, we didn't feel so alone cause we had at least a few people in our life we could connect to on many levels. At the moment He is the only one I can deeply connect to. And actually I'm getting used to it and started to enjoy it. He is the cleanest, purest and the most encouraging, supporting Friend I will ever have. It is very good to experience that, it strengthens my relationship with Him. We all value when someone is faithful to us no matter what. So does He, I think we put a smile on His face when we are faithful no matter what Thank you again for reaching out. Blessings from Ireland 🙏
