Tassels? Numbers 15. (What Most Pastors won't Tell You). The tassels, also called Tsitsits in Hebrew. Many Passages that you already know about will come alive to you. You will understand this topic that is hardly ever talked about from the Hebrew culture. Watch this short video... You'll be very excited you did.
**** Small Correction.... It probably should read YHWH, not JHWH. That first letter is the "Jot" that Jesus spoke about as not passing from the Torah.
Do you know for sure that if you were to die you would go to heaven? This is the most important topic. To go to heaven you need to be perfect, but no one is. So, there is only one Solution. Jesus Christ. He took your sin, your shame, your guilt and your punishment. He died on the cross and rose from the dead. He said that if you trust Him as the One, Who died on the cross for your sins, or as your Savior. You will have eternal life and you will go to heaven. Do this right now....
Then once that is settled, watch the videos, like, subscribe, and comment. :-)

God has surely given us many clues of his inspired word! I even watched a Hebrew scholar revealing that after the Hebrew equivalent of ‘T’ in Genesis, every 50th letter written after that ends up as the word ‘TORH’ or Torah in English. There are even more examples of this. More videos like this are needed to show the lost world that there is so much evidence that God loves us and hasn’t abandoned us. I was blessed by this presentation. Thank you.

Yes, there is SO much in the Hebrew. In Genesis 1:1, the word Aleph - Tov is found. The first letter and the last letter of the Hebrew alphabet. Like Rev. 22:13, the Alpha and Omega. The first and last letter!!! Jesus Christ.

Upon meditating on the hidden words within the first hebrew word recorded in Scriptures, “Bereshit”, (‘in the beginning’) many truths are discovered and we see God’s whole plan of Salvation is laid out in this one word. The Word Bereshit (בראשׁית) in Hebrew letters is: Tav, Yud, Shin, Alef, Resh, Beit (Hebrew is read right to left.) Investigate the pictographs of these letters. Praise YAH!

This was interesting. May I please make one suggestion for an edit, sir? The letter "J" was not created until 1524. When it was created by an Italian man, it carried the sound of an "I" (ee) . There is no J in Hebrew either. Where you have a "J" in God's Name there should be a "Y", representing the Hebrew letter "Yod". So God's Name in tetragrammaton form is YHWH (Yod - Hey - Waw- Hey) Pronounced closer to eey-ah-oo-ah... Or, with more of a flowing sound, Yahuah. Thank you. And yes, to agree with other commenters, the color blue as a requirement should be stressed. Blue is often associated with God's commandments, the stone tablets, etc. And this command was for all of Israel and anyone who sojourned with them. The same is true today. Those who would walk in the commandments of Yahuah need the visual reminder. I really appreciated your dive into the "wings" of the garment. Excellent work!

Hi, I've been thinking about this question. So, I'm sorry I took a while to reply. But I wanted to do justice to this great question! There are a couple of things to consider within the Torah... Not all of the Commands are for everyone. For instance there are Commands that relate just to women. A man wouldn't obey those... Or Commands, that deal what a thief should do. Well, of course if one hasn't stolen anything, than they would not have to obey that Command. Now with the Command or a better Word Instruction of the tassels, It was specifically given to the men of the Nation of Israel. (See Numbers 15:38) Jewish Rabbis would not want gentiles to obey those Commands, because they might not do This properly. That's what they say... I believe that one has freedom in this. If a gentile wants to put on tassels to remind themselves to obey God's Word, I have no problem with It. Then comes the part as an example what the rabbis would have difficulty with. Deuteronomy 22:12 teaches us that the tassels should be on the four corners.... i.e. four tassels... That's why doing something different would cause a concern with Jewish rabbis... Now to take that even further.... If one were to obey the oral law too, then there are a bunch of instructions there, like what one should do when a person goes to the bathroom... and many other instructions... Jesus obeyed a lot of the Oral Law, but not always... Thus there were conflicts between Jesus and the Pharisees, who did obey the oral law... I'll throw this out finally... (maybe I should do another video on the tassels). Paul was a disciple of Gamaliel. That's not a small little thing. Gamaliel was the grandson of Hillel and is known as one of the biggest teachers and Rabbis in the history of Israel. It's like saying that one studies golf under Tiger Woods! It's not easy to become a disciple of Gamaliel... A disciple there must have had the entire Old Testament or Tanagh memorized. Even after his third missionary journey, he called himself a Pharisee of Pharisees.... He knew the Torah inside and out... So, now the question would be: "Why did he never in any of his Epistles tell any gentile to wear tassels??? Maybe he did, but under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, It was never recorded... But I think you have freedom here... I.e. you can wear one or all four... But if you want to be totally Torah observant, you want to wear four... (And I'm memorizing the Book of Deuteronomy right now, so I do love the Torah (Psalm 119:97,98))

@@TheKeesBoerMinistryChannel Only 271 of the 613 are observable. We can't assume Paul left out anything for any reason. For example, moving the Sabbath to the 1st day of the week would have not been written about, because changing it from Saturday was unfathomable. The 12 Apostles (Matthias replaced Judas) consulted with the Holy Spirit to lessen the burden for new believers (milk). The desire to live in the image of Messiah compels people to take on these (not so heavy) burdens to please and grow closer to God. Glory to glory.

@@TheKeesBoerMinistryChannel the cords are supposed to be white, but one chord is supposed to br sky blue. The purpose of the sky blue chord is to remind the people to keep God's laws. Originally, on door posts, were the ten commandments. The rabbis didn't want the people ONLY to think about God's laws, but also their laws. So the rabbis, changed the words posted to door from the 10 commandments to the introductory paragraph before the ten commandments. So, the same logic can be applied to the blue cord. The rabbis don't want that you remember ONLY God's laws, so they removed the blue chord. What they "say" is that we are not sure which shade of blue was used during the times of Moses, therefore we don't want to make a mistake.... but this is clearly a desception.

Well the Torah has 613 Commandments or Mitzvots. I'm not Jewish. I'm Dutch. So, the Commandments don't apply to everyone. For instance, if you don't steal, you wouldn't have to keep the Commandment on how to return the stolen goods. So, the One of Numbers 15:37-39 of the tassels is specifically given to Jewish males. Most of the Torah isn't really applicable to Gentile believers in Christ. Though It is extremely important to understand It, in order to understand the Bible.

Ok, so you're basically saying that the YOD is "Y" not "J".... Am I understanding you correctly?

Unfortunately, misunderstood commentary by the authors twists understandings. Yod is the letter Y. We don't know 100% if the if there is a modification to the V to make it W or even U. The Way needs to be studied diligently. Appreciate your deep insight on this topic. I'm not saying His Name, because he told Moses not to worry about it. I had the wool pulled over my eyes many years, until I decided to just do exactly what Jesus "Yeshua" from "Yehoshua" from "Y'Hoshea [lit. God's Salvation] would do.

@@girardedward Thank you so much for your comment.I just saw it! I appreciate your input. The poster was right. but the video has been there a long time. I corrected it in the next version of the video....It's hard to edit it, once it is up there in KZbin. I did put a correction in the description of the video. That can be edited!!! Thank you again!!!
