Our first destination was Golu Chitai temple, located at 7 kms away from Almora city on the Pithoragarh Highway. Here, devotees write their wishes on letters and stamp papers and tie bells on the temple premises once their wishes are granted by the Golu Devta ji.
We tasted the famous Bal Mithai of Almora by Khim Singh Mohan Singh Rautella, including Bal Mithai, Chocolate Barfi and Singhori with prices of Rs. 360/kg.
We also tasted Dahi Jalebi from Joshi Bhawan shop.
Our last stoppage was Maa Nanda Devi Mandir, which is located in the middle of the Almora City, Uttarakhand.
