I'd rather vote Undertaker 1st place, Hitman Hart 2nd place, Randy Savage 3rd place and then maybe Hulk. About matches: I would say, Hulk was selling terrible. Bad actor, bad selling. Hitman was selling well. As a kid I felt sorry for this grown man, when he rolled in the ring "full of pain".

No we are not. You can remember him as the hero but as stories come out of racism, infidelity, general “assholery” (how many times he refused to work with people or put himself over), his kid being a mess, pimping his daughter out for storylines to give her a career, the steroids and other drugs, then marrying a younger version of his ex-wife… no. Hulkamania isn’t running wild. It’s running away, or with his back, gently avoiding confrontation.
@Kit_Bear
@Kit_Bear 9 ай бұрын
@@wmumoose1 You seem to follow him a lot more today than any one of us did back then. Are you saying it's his fault his son decides to be a loser? Are you also saying that he's the only Hollywood A-lister to use or had used steroids/drugs? No-one's perfect buddy. Sit down.

Wrestling in the 80s through the 00s didn’t have the same regulations. The ring/mat floor in particular wasn’t cushioned as well and in some arenas it was basically like them landing directly on concrete. Wrestlers from Hogans era were also expected to wrestle non stop 7 days a week, multiple shows a day, across months. That means they would physically brutalize their body non stop without the proper rest needed to heal up. Hogans infamous leg drop move is one of the main reasons he has so many health issues today. Imagine how much hip damage you would get from jumping in the air and landing with your leg out on the hard ground. Over and over and over. So love or hate him, Hogan literally put his body on the line for our entertainment. Wrestling today has so many regulations now that protects the talent. The rings are now fitted to protect their body as much as possible. They now aren’t allowed to wrestle without proper breaks in between show dates. And when they do have injuries they now have better treatment options. Even though wrestling is scripted it’s still one of the most physically demanding sports in the world. The fact that wrestlers during Hogans era were doing 7 shows a week for an entire year is just insane.
