I am not sure if this change was added to PC or not but on console , Imperial Delivery will give trade exp when turning in fish as well. I power lvled my Trade Exp to Master fishing in Ducraven then Imperial Delivery the fish in Grana. like to point out imperial in the same town u fished in does not seem to give trade exp. Must travel to another town. I hit Master in a few weeks I wanna say around 2 to 3 weeks before LF merge I had 4 Art 1 and 2 Master Traders in less then 2 months. Just wanted to mention it in case u wanted to check it out on PC and see if they changed it there as well. I have been able gain Trade Experience by Imperial Fish Delivery since they removed the trade stuff to rework it. I do Grana & Ducraven because so far this has been where I’ve gotten the most exp. For some reason. If I run to Veila for example my Exp is less but pay on fish is more. Grana & Ducraven are a nice power lvl spot for trade by fishing especially with them being hot spots for the permanent event fish that worth good money for selling and never being exhausted as well as getting the trade lvls up fast for Afk.

@daniellesweeney4863 yeah that's why I mentioned fishing. Trading the green and blue grade fish is great with the npc close by. Eilten is another great place with the Fishing tank able to extend the fish longer than anywhere else in game andnyou can fish in front of the imperial fish npc

I’m kind of in the same boat I’ve been making different types of boxes since I started the game five years ago and they’re all sitting in storage. I have like hundreds of thousands of different or boxes and everything else so I guess it’s time. I finally put that to use after watching this video.

Would you recommend titanium/van crates for high value crates ?

So if I do trade crates I have to spend CP on lodging for workers. Workshops to make the crate. And nodes to connect different cities. I remember reading an article that only 17% of trade crate value is created for all this. It seems like the opportunity cost of just having more workers collecting with my cp is easier and possibly more profitable. Is my understanding correct or am I missing something?

You're correct. Trading has a ton of silver and opportunity costs that people very often fail to take into account when reporting outlandish "profit" numbers. Most trading, even after the removal of active trade, ends up being an effective loss of value when you add up the costs.

As region has a lot to do with the money that can be made, the value of the materials fluctuate due to events or updates, your lifeskill level, real monet put into it etc. I was told the only way to make silver without spending is with mob grinding. Lifeskilling is a hobby and not made to make money just done for fun

@teddy yeah I agree I do it for fun as well. Crates just doesn’t seem too appealing to me personally given I can just sell the mats after processing. I do all other life skills but this one I have skipped because there seem to be no profits at all compared to others.

@@anyfourwordphrase42 the crates trading with process help a lot to make money without value pack active, but if you spend month money in value pack, simple use the market, it's more profitable and easy, but the tax from the market without value pack realy kill the profit using the market to sell the items.

There are a few questions I'm left with. I admit that I skimmed some first time through the video, though. Is xp greater with further distance or does distance traveled not matter for xp? What route do you take to get from Valencia to Land of the Morning Light? Also, what did they do with the rumors and buy to sell trading?

Yes, the further you go the more xp you'll get too and I send mine out using a trade wagon every 6hrs product is done. Active trading was removed

If i craft my crates on Grana, for example, do i need to connect the nodes to the land of the morning light or that's not necessary?

Yes, if you're gonna trade in the loml you'll need to connect grana to the island

Mushroom crate value isn't terrible, but which nodes yield the most? Way too many of them and not enough CP to test them all.

U could use the light stone sets one the artifacts all life skill exp instead of the trade exp if u don’t have the trade exp ones I got them and all life skill mastery from imperial fish delivery 2 of each in about month of overnight afk fishing.

Yeah its a shame they removed the Trading Artifacts. +6% using the general lifeskill exp is just not the same as that +10%. I get most my artifacts from just lifeskilling, Training, and oddly enough not a lot from Fishing.

If I go to reg trade manager or just actually from afk fishing it’s self I get barely any I think 1 from afk fishing it’s self then none from regular trade manager, I get about 3 a week from imperial fishing delivery along with light stones every turn in

You might be trying to use a normal wagon and not the Transport Wagon at the very end of the list

You can grind Black Stone which is pretty cheap now and can get more powder that way, depends on your Processing Mastery.

I am genuinely confused. I made crates in Trent, and it's connected all the way to valencia but my crates sell for 1,089 with down arrow 100% value. while the regular sell price is 3,500

100% sounds like you're missing a node. Not sure why it would not be valued anything in valencia if the nodes are connected and bargain was applied.

So this is the only trading for now? coz I think I saw you say trading is being reworked, did I see this right? I am asking cause I’m currently bartering on the sea and wanted to do some trading on the land but found out the active trading is gone so I’m not really too sure what to do I am a returning player and wanted to get into trading. I’m doing my bartering up, I’m going to get the Cavalar foresee trading eventually, and the frigate for a combat pve and stuff like that, I am an old archage player you see. The current state of black desert is in, this is my new archage lol 😅 yeah you players want to see pay to win. I’m just gonna be completely honest with you this doesn’t even compare to archage... all of you should play that you would know what pay to win really looks like then lol So yeah back to my question is my initial question corrector and do you know how long it’s going to be till they re-add it or have they not announced

I miss the old days when people thought it was fun to gather and craft in-between sitting around the taverns after talking to your guild for hours. Now guilds don't talk, you only mob grind, and when you get tired of mob grinding in a circle you can mob grind in a single spot

I think you're presenting too many options/game mechanics if your target is beginners. When I present trading to someone new to it, I tell them to: 1. Set your workers on ore and timber nodes 2. Process them to t3 mats (plywood/bars) or buy from market 3. Drop them in Valencia for workers to crate 4. Trade wagon to LoML

I just tell newer players that's wasting the money too when you can just mob grind. A LOT faster and easier than wasting time being told 95% of the activity is ass lol besides. Just swipe your card and sell the costumes if you wanna make even faster money easier than all that. I think that's better than losing the silver too on lifeskill activities that's limited by only make this or only that lol 😆
