Sometimes we forget that even though they can return to the past when they stop X.A.N.A.'s attacks, if any of the Lyoko Warriors died they actually stayed dead. Also, side characters like Jim almost (if not actually) died so many times on this show that it's a good thing they didn't remember these events otherwise they would have been traumatized for life.
