TheInunah Project Diva is made by Sega and they only have the rights to the Crypton Vocaloids (Meiko, Kaito, Miku, Rin, Len and Luka) Gumi appeared in a spin off, they got permission by Internet co ltd (her creators)...the others are all owned by different companys who probablly want to focus on their own unique projects and not Project Diva.

hey, just to say that ALYS is not a upcoming VOCALOID, but she's already out as an Alter/Ego, and will maybe (it's a big maybe) get released on CeVIO later. Alter/Ego is a free software developped by Plogue, and it's very close to Chipspeech (Lady Parsec, Otto Mozer, etc). Cien, ECHO's producer, voiced an A/E VB which is called Daisy. There are also NATA (an eng VB), BONES (a JP/ENG VB), Marie Ork (a screamer much like Maiko Hakaine) & soon-to-be LEORA, who will be Eng and Fr. ALYS sang several songs already, for example Hajime Ni by heartbreaker, SHARDS by Eyeris (Creep-P) and Sous Cette Pluie by Lightning & TBK. Check it out, she's really amazing!! -an ALYS enthusiastic

Masaoka Azuki and Kobayahsi Matcha were just suddenly released as V4. Akikoloid isn't released, but she already has a voice. Zhiyu Moke and Mo QingXian may not have been released, but they already have their voice debuts. LUMi is announced after you made this, not released, but already have a trial.

In case you’re asking yourself “why teto, neru,haku, zatsune miku isn’t here?” I’m gonna try explain why they’re not here ^^ Teto is an utauloid, is like the program vocaloid but for free and you can do your own voicebank. Neru, Haku, and Zatsune are fanloids, which means they don’t have their own voicebanks. Haku is a low pitched miku, Neru is either a high pitched miku or a low pitched rin, and Zatsune is like the edgy version of miku Hope this helped ^^ (and sorry for the bad english)

I’m just going to make a long ass post about some of the voices I found appealing or the one’s I enjoy listening to in general, so beware I guess??? Miriam’s low voice is surprisingly lovely and smooth despite the quality I had expected out of her. Though it does have its harsher edges, I somewhat blame the English language for a portion of that. Still quite lovely to hear though. Miku has the most polish and work put into her voice and only gets better with the years. Honestly her append version just adds a nice, not too hollow ring to her voice that makes it echo just right in my opinion. Not to mention she’s Iconic in the vocaloid world, so I mean, I’d be dumb not to like her since she’s everywhere. I do have to say her V3 edition was my least favorite of the bunch though. Prima I had legit never heard before but holy shit I never expected something so smooth and gorgeous. The vibrato and the transitions between the notes is... phenomenal. I’m still in awe tbh. Gakupo I like simply because finding a lower voice that doesn’t sound like garbage is somewhat hard (at least, when it comes to some of the older banks...) When pushed to the upper half of his range, the staticky robot effect of the synthesizer gets pretty prominent, which is my only gripe with him, but his V3 version makes his voice smoother as a whole and fixes the bad staticky effect. Plus, his lower range gives a nice growl effect without the need for a growl effect... does that make sense? Look man, I just like his low voice, sue me. He’s pretty. Luka is probably the second most polished voice in the Vocaloid sets, and she sets a nice medium tone that makes me appreciate her more than Miku at times. It feels more romantic and personal for some reason. She also has an easier time with English songs than Miku does, so in a way she’s more versatile. Gumi... idk why I like Gumi tbh. She’s something between a Miku and a Luka, but she doesn’t have the positives of both so...? Maybe it’s just the way she’s utilized most of the time, but I’m still trying to work my head around her. Maybe it’s the lack of an edge between note transitions...? And as for her v3, I’m actually not as fond of it as I am the original simply because it lacks the same weight that the original had. Megpoid Gumi fixes that though, making it my favorite of the Gumi voicebanks, and one of my favorites in general. Yuki Kaai somehow makes a higher voice not sound like crap, which is impressive in my opinion. Not many utilize her though, which is a shame, but from what I know she’s hard to get sounding right and requires a serious amount of fine-tuning to get clear. Even then, I feel like her voice is too hollow sounding, but eh, minor gripe I guess. VY1s diversity is probably why so many people have used them, and their range makes them pretty ideal to invest in, but I feel like they lack the oomph that some other voices have. They also struggle with sounding too hollow at times, but from what I’ve seen it’s mostly a problem with held notes than anything else. Or maybe my sound system idk I’m not making an effort to check other systems to make sure. Plus their note transitions are pretty sharp and I can’t find many songs that use that to their advantage, and they have a habit of occasionally “Stuttering” from what I’ve seen, but I’m not too sure why that happens. Their V3 edition seems to solve the stuttering though and makes the note transitions smoother, but still has too much of a hollow ring to it that puts me off. I do prefer the V3 edition though. I hadn’t heard Neko Iroha before tbh, but her voice is surprisingly good??? I haven’t heard anything besides the small snippet though so I’d have to go look for some more songs before I make any big judgements on her. Utatane Piko (I’d always thought it was just Utane??) I like because I feel like it’s what Len SHOULD have been. They’re essentially the same in quality but Piko is just lower, which makes some of the flaws the two voices share a little less glaring in my opinion. Plus I feel like Piko manages his notes better despite Len literally having a higher range?? Piko suffers a bit from the robotic crackle at times but I only hear it when he’s transitioning into lower notes or on his S’s, so I prefer him over Len any day. He does lack Len’s weight though, so I’m pretty picky with his songs. VY2 Has probably one of the worst growl effects, next to Flower 3, but I like the male versions intonation better than the female. It’s essentially a better Gakupo, as most of the problems I had with Gakupo are just about solved with VY2. I also like VY2s added weight, and it feels less hollow than most voices (can’t say the same for the female though). V3 I’m just not a fan of, so I won’t add anything about it. I had heard of Mew before, but hadn’t really heard her before, though I can say I’m pleasantly surprised with how smooth her voice is. Not a fan of the lower tones from what I had just heard though, but her note transitions are still lovely. SeeU is probably one of my favorite voices with just how top notch her quality is. It has a ring that isn’t too hollow sounding, the note transitions are relatively smooth and stable, and her range doesn’t have any really glaring issues when pushed. Just a little bit more weight to her voice in general would make her perfect in my opinion, though her held notes don’t really suffer from this issue for whatever reason. As much as I love Yukari’s design, I’m not as big of a fan of her voice. It’s just not in my taste for some reason? Still love the box art and some of her models though. In regards to aesthetics, she’s definitely up there. IA... I have issues with Is despite her popularity. I can’t really enjoy IA without comparing her to Miku Append due to the quality of their sound, and IA has a slightly lower range than Miku, without the same oomph that Miku provides. I suppose IA Rocks solves the weight issue I had with her, but I still am not a fan of that edition either, since it still feels too hollow. I had seen Art for Lapis but wow I’m shocked from what I heard. I never listened to her before but now I’m making an effort to go out and listen to some because she just about fixed every issue I had with Yuki Kaai while maintaining the higher range. If this is her standard than she might just be up there with some of my favorites. Considering I’m not a fan of the original Lily, I’m just going to talk about V3 Lily since the difference in sound quality actually makes me enjoy V3 a hell of a lot more than the original. It has the same oomph and weight i enjoy from Gakupo and Miku, with the nice medium tones of Luka. I also prefer her aesthetics to Luka’s, so that’s a +1 in my book. The voice transitions well, and her voice doesn’t sound too hollow (a problem I have with a lot of voicebanks is how hollow they sound, it makes them feel more stilted in general) though she doesn’t have quite as nice of a voice as Luka’s when she hits her higher notes. It’s reminiscent of her original version’s harshness, but granted her voice isn’t meant to stay their for long so it’s more a minor gripe of mine. I don’t have a lot of experience with the Chinese voicebanks, but all I can say is that I’ve heard enough of Luo Tianyi to say she’s my favorite, despite a few issues I have with her quality of sound with certain syllables. Also cute as hell, so she’s up there with one of my favorite aesthetic designs. The sound clip chosen for her voice really doesn’t do her justice tbh. Mayu is what I feel like IA should have been in my opinion, as she’s different enough from most of the other voicebanks to stand out, making most of the issues I had originally with IA in the first place obsolete. Her added weight makes her more appealing, plus I love her aesthetic to IA’s. Not a huge fan of Zola project as a whole, but I’ve come to enjoy Wil’s more relaxed tones compared to some of the other voicebanks available. I guess that makes him my favorite out of the whole Zola project(?) but I’m still pressed to say I enjoy them. Yohioloid! I’m happy to say he’s climbed my list over the years since I first got exposed to him, but his diversity and surprising clarity with both languages makes him at least note worthy in my opinion. I feel like his voice mixes Kaito and I suppose Wil from Zola project, but I Yohio way more than either of those so??? He’s more chill than Kaito, but doesn’t have any glaring sound issues, so he’s my preferred male voicebank out of them all. Wow, uhh, I’d never heard of Maika before but just her language list makes me take note of her. Not a fan of her voice, but definitely worth taking a look at.... I’d heard of Chika before but I haven’t looked into her at all. I love what I’m hearing though, so I’ll be taking a look at some of her in the future. That’s all I’ve had any familiarity working with or hearing, since I dropped the fandom for a few years during the V3 Editions. I’m old fashioned though, so I can’t say that I’ll be making an effort to really reach out to some of the newer versions of classic voicebanks.
