I went through similar situation. The system was so bad to me too. Most of those foster parents was the worst because. They only did it for a pay check. I feel your pain. The only difference is that I was abuse by my mother as well as others. The reason why we ended up in DCFC. So it was real easy for the foster parents to abuse us. I really feel your pain.

Powerful piece sis! The fact that you opened up this much shows your willingness to be vulnerable and inspiring to everyone around you. So glad to have met you in 2007-2008 when we were coworkers at Wendys. I remember while working, you told me you were moving to California. I remember thinking to myself, like wow, she's brave to travel across the country like this given we were like 17,18. You have always been one of my favorite people. So proud of you and know you will always have a friend and a supporter in me! Great work!

Wow Thank you so so much!!!!! I remember telling you that too lol! That shit is insane what 10 years can do from speaking things into existence I swear!! And still to this day working at that Wendys was the most fun job I have had outside of creating lol. You made it that much better and I appreciate your support back then and I still do to this day! 💕

Beautiful, amazing! And your story brought me to tears. But also has given me hope when something’s don’t ever seem like they are obtainable because of life’s situation. Good for you, no one should ever have to go through with the abuse of a foster parent, when usually those children are coming from trauma. I am so sorry that you and your sibling had to go through that. I’ve always wanted to be a foster mom and I think I will be the greatest at it, because all it takes is love and understanding. I really loved your story and I’m going to share it with all my friends. You accomplish your dreams when most people would’ve already given up! God bless sweetheart and live your best life! Thank you so much for sharing👏🏼💯💓💓💓🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🔥🔥🥰

I found this video looking on how to best help my children. I'm their foster mother but their mom just lost her rights and I will be adopting them. I'm so sorry for the abuse you suffered! We love them so much and wonder is there anything we can really do to help heal their broken hearts.

Thanks so much for sharing your story. I know it takes a lot of strength and courage. By you doing this, you’re empowering others who have gone through something very similar. Watching you cry when recalling how you felt seeing your mom get so skinny due to drugs revealed the hurt little girl inside of you. I couldn’t help but cry too. I’ve been following you on ig for awhile & I would’ve never thought that this was your childhood story. Thank God we don’t look like what we’ve been through! 🙌🏾 Super inspiring 🙏🏾

I had sex for the first time in a scabby chair because my drug addicted mother had thrown me out the hse and i had no where to go. The only place was a man in my area it was horrible. My only other sexual encounters were from punters as i was now the damaged teen with no where to live, and no one who cares. Please please children and drugs do not mix. Mothers you hold the most pls don't do it

If you don’t mind, how old are you and your sister now? I’m just curious, who, in your opinion do the children view as “ the bad guys” in these situations? The cops? The social workers? The parents? Not so great foster parents? What would’ve made your foster care experience better? Do you think your mother is currently in denial about her role in all this? I’m thinking of changing my major to social work and plan to become a foster parent and eventually adopt a couple of little girls. The way you describe the system as a p”pack of wolves” is concerning to me though. I definitely don’t want to be “the bad guy “ I really appreciate you sharing your story🌺🌻🌹

I know the lady on the cover of this video. She didn’t like beads or braids in her hair. I saw her at a makeshift studio and I could tell something was wrong by the way she was acting. I asked her something about her and her hair. I took her hair down and she felt better and slept. I didn’t let anyone bother her. I found out her name and realized I knew her biological father and knew she was named after her father’s mother for a reason! The mean black lady in the video holding the baby is a kidnapper and wasn’t a foster parent/mother/home. Mean lady had all sorts of hot kids, she was wheeling and dealing. I was friends with some of the hot kids, until they started doing illegal stuff for mean lady (Linda Jean) and she has a daughter who has the same name. The girls in her home were my age; we were all born between 1971-1975. The boy in her home lied a lot and no one knew his true age, but I know his name and he loves Audi cars, preferably white. One girl cut her stomach I called her serial killer Laurie because she was featured on the news as a dangerous and life threatening serial killer and please call federal authorities.

Your mother was sick but she choice to be sick because getting clean was hard but it was easier for her to stay on the drugs rather than get clean for her children. Bottom line she felt making sure she got high was more important than getting clean and being a parent.
