Isa 11:2b) us to protect us from the snares of this world. b) The UNHOLY fear of fellowmen or this world which as we can see is instigated and promoted by men (Matt 10:26-31, Jn 3:20, 1 Jn 4:18). May this encourage you to live by the holy fear of God and forsake all unholy fears of fellowmen & of this world. Yes, just as the Lord constantly reiterates, "..DO NOT FEAR.." (eg. Isa 41:10).

Something snapped when I was 29 and I started to think about death *a lot.* This was years after being saved, my story isn't that this was how I came to faith. Instead, I'm now ready to go. I can live another 60+ years if he wants me to, but I have lost any remaining love of the world or the things in the world. I would not be upset to die suddenly or die young, I've made my peace and I have gotten to that point in maturity where to go and be with Christ is far more desirable, but also not being apathetic or bitter at life here. Having nothing to lose makes me work even harder for the kingdom, knowing that I'm not really risking anything. A healthy perspective of the immanence and inevitability of death does wonders for your peace of mind

My precious daddy posted this song on his blog only a few weeks before he died. Praise the Lord that he had trusted alone in the gospel of Christ and that he is now with the Lord!
