The GameStop story is merely a misundering. He could've explained that when he said: "I know where to find you." He meant Tinder and not the store and didnt know who she was or why she was upset, I think it's nice he stays away so as to not upset her. It would only make it worse to come back. I can only assume she's made her own "Let's Not Meet", I really wish she knew his side of the story
@AnthonySforza5 жыл бұрын

Wow, that Tinder one was just bad luck on both their ends.
@AnthonySforza5 жыл бұрын
No, it was just bad luck on his end. I have a similar experience with a girl from Best BUY. Somehow the concept that the world doesn't revolve around them and that other people have lives which may inadvertently intersect with theirs is somehow beyond the grasp of their conceptualization. So they automatically shoot to them stalking/harassing them. This is why I never dated Hooters girls.
@tekbarrier5 жыл бұрын
Anthony Sforza really? That's your reason for not dating Hooters girls?
@thelandlockedkaiju48205 жыл бұрын
It’s cool Anthony, I too completely lack all empathy and the ability to consider my actions from other people’s perspectives and the contexts that inform those perspectives. Things all just happen in a vacuum, after all.
@thelandlockedkaiju48205 жыл бұрын
Jokes aside if multiple people think you’re stalking them, maybe they’re not the ones in need of reflection and introspection.
@AnthonySforza5 жыл бұрын
@@tekbarrier Haha, nah. The Hooters Girls thing is more about how usually there's like one in whichever town, so even though I've only been to Hooters twice (Three times of counting the casino in Vegas), when in a position where I'm "Talking" with a woman and she mentions working at Hooters... Now I can't go there, lest she think I'm stalking her. Where using the truthful reasoning that "I didn't know which one you worked at..." wouldn't work because there's only one. Which really weird me out, as it used to be that if a woman one was dating saw then at their work, it was "Oh hey, what's up?", a short conversation or brief acknowledgement of existence and then both parties go on about their lives. Though now, they're so obsessed with selfie culture and social media, that like I mentioned above, they can't grasp that other people live lives as well. That when they go home and put on music, the other people in their lives don't cease to exist.

Oh man, I actually have a similar story to the Tinder/Gamestop one. I was "Talking" with a girl I'd met and asked out. She mentioned in passing that she worked at Best Buy (Sent me a photo of her in the blue polo) and we were supposed to make plans to go out. Yea, well, a few days go by and admittedly, it's not as though I was super distraught about it, as I have this thing where days or weeks will go by between talking with someone, without me actually noticing. Also, if they wanted to talk, they'd call me, Yea? I get some money from a friend that he owed me and decided to stop into the Best Buy near where I lived to pick up a couple DVDs (Take Me Home Tonight and Suckerpunch, in case anyone was wondering). I get to the register and the guy asks me if I have a rewards card or whatnot and I responded that I didn't. Then I hear a woman's voice proclaim "Oh my fucking GOD!" Thinking "I wonder what that's about?" I glance past my cashier and see that the next register is the girl I was supposed to set plans up with. "I TOLD YOU that I'd call you, now you're at my work stalking and harassing me???" She then left her register and ran into... I'm guessing a break room in the back or something. I honestly didn't see her standing there, which would probably explain why I went to a different register. Nor did she let on in any way that this Best Buy was the one she worked at. "Oh, Yea, I work at Best Buy, see" is iterally the most she ever said about it. Maybe something about blue being her color, I don't know, but that was definitely it. So some guy comes out while I'm receiving the bag of DVDs to leave and goes on the white knight trip of "You need to leave... Or I can have security REMOVE you!" So brave that guy, kicking someone out when they're already leaving. "Medal's in the mail, bro" was my response. Here's the thing though, I'm not even joking when I said it was the Best Buy near me, the alley behind it... Was the alley touching my apartment complex.
@tekbarrier5 жыл бұрын
You should've turned it back on him. "I came here to buy some DVDs and I have no idea what you're talking about. And frankly, I don't appreciate being treated this way" lol
@AnthonySforza5 жыл бұрын
@@tekbarrier I'd considered that, but I'd heard enough "stalker" anecdotes to in iw that it'd just be seen as an excuse to be in there. Which then kind of brought a number of those that I had heard, into a different focus.

I really like listening to Lets Read's videos as his voice is one of the best for these stories, but there is something about his audio that always leaves me feeling sick. It's only his stuff. I don't know what causes it and my headphones are pretty good, but there's a weird quality that makes it alternate between left and right stereo repeatedly. It's never totally independent, but it's more like someone has a stereo mic set up and they constantly sway between the two.

maybe it's just because I grew up in the time of technology, and at 30 yrs old, if someone is asking for directions, they're probably not too bright as they let their phone die and didn't bring a charger, trying to trick you to do who knows what, or from a place where they don't have signal in which case, Sorry can't help you- as every smart phone has GPS and even in some rural areas, you can at least get an offline map. You asking for directions to some person on the street is a serious thing to be suspicious about, especially if they're children or a small woman that appears [may not be] defenseless. Like, who would get into a car to show someone how to get somewhere, that's just dumb.

I don’t want this to come across the wrong way, but you had improved on your narration so well over the past year or so but lately you’ve been talking way too fast and doing the sing so type of thing with your voice. You tend to end each phrase with an upward tone and it’s hard to focus on what you are saying. I’m hoping this comes across as a helpful tip from a listener who absolutely loves your contact but I’m finding myself starting to skip the vids after a few minutes because I use them to fall asleep.
