Aloft is a co-op sandbox survival game where you soar freely through a beautiful world of floating islands, each with its own living ecosystem. Build a home and a helm, and transform any island into your own personal skyship to set sail for the ever-present hurricane in the distance.
Harness the winds to automate machinery and production, explore islands to find new technology, and seek out seeds and animals to create your own cozy farm in the clouds. In dark places you will find a spreading corruption of mushroom creatures. Defeat them in combat, cure the islands, and restore their ecosystems.

It's weird that we don't see a lot of floating island world setting in games and movies/shows. It's such a simple yet beautiful and can even be mind-blowing idea. I remember the first time I played Minecraft Skyblock on a public server and I couldn't stop playing. I just keep building my own island and even making new islands. I even carried that habit of mine of making floating islands to a normal survival private server. My friends (who the majority of them are new to the game) were blown away by it. Anyway, enough with me and Minecraft, this game looks beautiful and I hope you guys would keep it _afloat_ by giving it as much love and care as possible. Much love from Indonesia 👋😄🇮🇩

There's this french cartoon called "Dragon Hunters" ("Chasseurs de Dragons") which takes place in such a setting. It has two seasons and a CGI movie. The series doesn't really have a continuity, so you can watch the episodes in any order. EDIT: as time of writing, you can find the episodes in English on KZbin.

Vraiment intéressant! La démo montre un vrai potentiel et on sent votre investissement. Pour d'autres, le jeu est à la croisé entre Raft, feu World Adrift et Windbound. Concernant la démo de cette version deux petits points noir: Impossible d'avoir des informations sur le décomposeur. Une seul note légère dans les informations. Impossible donc de re-viabiliser certaines iles. Idem pour les animaux, je n'en n'ai croisé que 4 sur les 22 iles. Je suis donc passé à coté de mal de chose, dont les pages pour croquis...(Systèmes très sympa d'ailleurs!!!!) Dernier point : Un système de poids ou de limite d'emplacement est nécessaire si vous souhaitez que les joueurs utilise les stockpiles. Hormis les petits soucis du dessus, probablement du aux format "démo" du jeu, j'ai hate de voir la suite et de le découvrir avec des amis sur sa version finale. Bref chapeau!

Looks great. Aside from gliders, they hurt my eyes. Extremely short wings and lack of tail give it "flying on pure imagination" vibes that instantly ruins immersion.

You got it all wrong, we shouldn't be fighting mushrooms, they are here to help us. They are an integral part of the ecosystem. If anything, we should be fighting pollution.

The corruption of this game is attacking and infecting mushrooms! Once the corruption is removed, the player is tasked to restore the ecosystem of the island, and that includes inoculating trees with good mushrooms like reishi mushroom to add the presence of decomposers to the ecosystem :) It's not a game where mushroom = bad :D

Looks nice - although I really wish/hope that devs stop doing the mob hit flash stuff - or at least provide a toggle for turning that off - your game is visually stunning why ruin it with that?! Additionally, stuff like that makes me too sick to continually play the game - such a bummer :(
