love the close up shots on the gear, you can get an idea of what he is riding. Interesting to see the shape of the tail on the board and straps hes using, it really does seem like a slightly beefed up surfboard

Very good eye! Kai wants his windsurf board to look and feel like a scaled up surfboard. That includes the widepoint, outline, and especially the tail profile. There's a lot of outline on the tail but it's really thinned out to get that grip and connection.

he is a a real surfer on a windsurf board. impressive. His fin setup almost looked like a twin with a trailor....
