The thing is he didnt just "get carried" he still tried to get a lot gold an xp so he could help his xayah even more. Usually when people think about getting carried all they do is sit behind turret and do not try and get more gold or xp because they "are not the win con"

He said it himself during the laning phase, there were a few too many good trades for Aatrox that Renekton should never give

The Renekton also didn't seem to have a good grasp on exactly how strong he was or how much resource he could pressure Alois off of, or potentially proxy behind him and take jungle and occasionally dip in for plates when minions get them low enough. Then for some reason Ivern decided to Herald in the losing botlane for two plates shared three ways... perhaps it made more sense in context? But I think it almost certainly would have been better to crack Alois' tower and free Renekton up to move around the map while swapping someone else against the Aatrox with nothing but defensive boots and a ruby crystal (we're not exactly worried about him killing anyone with no AD, at least as long as the person doesn't randomly *want* to die for no reason - to be fair, this happens a lot in soloqueue). Edit: Yup, look at 6:29. Renekton should just walk past Aatrox and take the next wave and Krugs. There's no one nearby to stop him, unless Anivia wants to cancel her back and come and search for him alone in the jungle, which seems like a bad, bad idea against a crocodile with a full Goredrinker while Aatrox is stuck picking up two waves (and probably somewhat slowly, unless he's willing to lose the gold to the tower). Instead Renekton does... nothing. He moves back and doesn't even contest the wave while having a whole item up on his lane opponent and full knowledge that the entire opposing team is in or past mid because he just saw a 4v2 fight 15 seconds ago. Guess he was just not feeling that confident or something, idk.
