When he dives the yorick at 3 minutes, is it still worth even though graves gets the kill? The dive was around 3:30 so we know the Jax should be there anyways. Yorick misses the whole wave so its definitely good for winning the lane, but Graves being a snowball champ makes me wonder how worth the entire play is if Graves can snowball from there when you have the option to just back and reset with a gold advantage and dive after shoving the wave again.

Go Ghost, try to just not die before lvl 6 (its fine to lose minions as long as you are getting the XP). A Jungle gank will really help, obviously. As soon as you have Stride you can actually start solokilling her pretty easily. Everything after that is childsplay

You can take the long way around mid, usually if it's being defended just check which side comes back to lane first.

@@cetofox starting out I head straight to top tribrush to try and cheese some damage. If a laner is returning from a red buff leash they usually go through the tri. I OTP fiora but it works for most laners, make sure to learn your limits and not commit too hard so as not to provoke a cheese gank. You can enter through mid river and pop ward to the other side of the wall if you're terribly weak early, like renekton

Nice video, woud really enjoy your opinion in jax a littel more, like riven the 1vs5 champion because of the aoe dmg, Garen the skirmisher that can't 1 vs 5 but like 1-3 opponents is alright depending on how bad they are and how ahead you are, wasn't watching Aatrox at all because I personally cancel this champion since his rework. I think he feels a littel weak in early compared to most of the other picks we have seen.

Jax is really fucking strong dude. He has hybrid damage so he's difficult to itemize against, he's got very strong spikes early game if you know how to play him, he's pretty easy to play so those spikes are usually the results of macro knowledge like Alois preaches (basically just wave control, level up timers, and the champion does the rest), he only needs two items to be basically unbeatable if even (Divine and Shojin) and those items give him everything he needs, and he beats the other S tier top picks like Renekton or GP and also beats tanks like K'Sante while outscaling them massively. Sure, his early game isn't as strong as a champion like Renekton, but E-Q-auto-W-auto trades are still strong enough to outtrade any champion that can't just drag you back in and forcibly extend them (like Darius, but you just play around your E and still win the matchup even early). The only champion's that win lane against Jax he outscales and just destroys them later even if you are behind in CS as soon as you get item spikes. He's also probably THE best split-pusher in the game because literally no champion can duel him past two items unless they are extremely fed, and he shuts down all common duelists like Fiora, Irelia, Yone, etc who like to split, and also shuts down split focused champions like Yorick. The only matchup that's somewhat difficult is Teemo or Jayce, and you can 100% win the Teemo matchup if you play it well because you outscale him gigahard, and the Jayce matchup is a skill one but his champion is much harder to play than yours so you have room to take advantage of mistakes. Basically you have to wait until Jayce uses E or Qs onto you, then you kill him, you can't ever E-Q onto him because he just knocks you away then reengages when your E runs out. So a good Jayce is basically impossible unless you take Ghost, rush for Tabi + Sheen, and then run him down immediately at 6 if he overextends, otherwise you take TP and D-shield, you farm for item spikes without dying if possible (but absolutely die for plates and CS if necessary), and then after Shojin you stomp him into the floor and just run him down. Take it from someone who hasn't played the game much recently, but has played Jax since S2. He's strong for exactly the same reasons as before, but with better itemization right now (Divine Sunderer is literally the perfect item for him and Shojin makes him incredibly broken). I played a single game of him after being away for like 3 years pretty recently, and he's uberstrong, requires no micro compared to something like Yone, and is basically the perfect Toplaner alongside Renekton (for different reasons though). Jax is probably going to get banned a lot soon because he's simply too strong right now, but if you can play him you can basically first pick him every game. Just ban whatever matchup you find hard (Darius can be hard because he can E bounce your E then all in when it's down, very CD and mindgame based, Jayce is a good shout because a good one is just a nightmare for you, Teemo is hell and exists solely to make you useless) and then pick him into anything. Bit long, but I think that would probably cover the basics of what Alois might say, though he would say it better and probably have more complex points!

As a video I can't rate as I don't enjoy normal league videos anymore, but as a Guide is very basic and doesn't actually teach you anything of Jax. It's a good matchup, a big skill diff on that Yorick ( top lane skill gap even when small, makes huge impact) and overall easy match. Expected a more goated gameplay on a tough matchup to show how to survive them and maybe get some ideas, not basic trading tips for any champion xD. Not trying to be rude, It's my first video from this guy and perhaps it's geared towards the new rank goldies

I mean, those are basic game principles and it's not that low ELO. It's only bad form if you flame people of a lower ELO for things they couldn't possibly know or expect, or flame them for singular mistakes anyone could make. Alois doesn't really seem to type that much, and when he does it's usually along the lines of "what are you doing, you need to do X" and communicating what they actually need to do. That's pretty good form compared to most streamers, let alone players. It also doesn't really matter what you say when your Teammates can't hear or see. Like, unless you are actively attacking them for things IG what does it matter if you complain on stream? It's frustrating when you perform well and your team doesn't, as long as you aren't toxic about them why shouldn't you share your opinions?
