one thing about it, i’ll always watch every podcast Alok is on. they make learning fun, they are so gracious and intentional with what they say and share with the world.

Relating to so much of this. Listening to ALOK is making me realize how much I have covered my vulnerability and desire for connection with a shell of cynicism and distrust. Thank you for platforming them; I'll be seeking them out now.

Alok belongs to a lineage of the greatest love-archers that existence has ever known. Each articulation, an arrow tipped in such intimacy and inclusivity that it is lethal to the loveless sabotage that tries to enslave our hearts and souls. Every word is uttered in defense of spirit, in protection of love's spectral magnitude. Through the perforations created by the poetics of this love-archer, my original and glamorous, infinite lovefull-ness beams, radiates from me as was always the way it should have been. I am in the humblest state to witness this reunion of the child and the elder into the harmony that they belong to. My whole heart is with you, Alok, and all others doing the cosmic work of the chrysalis--Trans...form..ing.

This is touching. A rare combination of intellectual rigour and emotional intelligence. My (Alok conversation) entrance point was a political controversy, but my exit point is spiritual awakening and mission, and I understand that is what they want.

There are so many things that resonated with me that Alok discussed I would literally just be transcribing everything he said. What he would say to his 12 year old self - don’t let people steal your belief in magic - this is exactly what me, at 43 years old, is trying to get back. Such an amazing episode, thank you 🙏🏽 ❤

I love Alok! They've been very inspiring to me as a South Asian on their own gender identity journey. Would love to meet them one day. I loved the discussion around safety too - we each decide for ourselves (or convince ourselves) what makes us feel the most safe. The whole episode gave me so much to think about.

Even when I know my average experience of listening every new episode of this podcast is knowing i'm about to hear deep and meaningful conversations, I didn't expect to be this moved by this episode. Everything said here, every approach is so wholesome and loving, it's left me with lots to think/feel about. Thank you🤍

Omfg, you guys. I spent the whole last week in the Adirondacks as the chaplain at church camp, with every minute scheduled, and no Wi-Fi. The things I did to still access the audio for this episode 😂. Never heard of Alok, but *love* them now. Suuuuuuuuch a deep spiritual conversation, the kind I love you for ❤. I MELTED when they brought up Thomas Merton, I adore him!

"Cleanses the rust from off the heart," truly! ALOK is the embodiment of that phrase, and gives the space for what that means. They are one of the perfect guests for this podcast. "Cleanses the rust from off the heart," is what this podcast does for me.

Aloke calls little girls kinky. Said, "there is no perfect victim" in regard to little girls being SA'd. And you give aloke a platform? Why? Do you support those views?

Was looking for this comment. He doesn’t make inappropriate comments like that anymore it seems. All he does is dress like a fruit loop, speak a load of pseudo-spiritual/psychological waffle and spout a victim narrative around his invented identity crisis. It’s actually astonishing how people listen to this fluff as if it’s very wise and profound… it’s not

Personally for me they do, and for many other trans people of colour, but I guess our lives and experiences are inaccurate?

@@_hariata I’m coming from a biblical perspective if someone is designated one gender at birth even they they undergo trans there gender doesn’t biblicaly change their laws don’t change according to my knowledge to my knowledge having gay intimacy is against the 7 noahite laws now even if someone goes from male to female trans its still considered male on male intimacy . Race doesn’t have this kind of danger
