Doesn't it just blow your mind how some of the so called scariest places on earth have the nicest, friendliest people. Always important to remember, the people are not their government. Keep the videos coming! We love them. Cheers!

The false media distorted the beautiful image of Iraq. We are a good and peaceful people and government, and we love everyone. Twenty-five Gulf men witnessed how the people of Iraq welcomed their Gulf brothers and all Arabs, and opened homes and hearts to people.

You are welcome in Iraq. Do not be afraid of anything. Go out to the roads at any time at night. You will find safety and love from the people. Iraq is a safe and vital country. People have money and everything. It is a country of oil. I advise you to visit Karbala and the fort of Al-Ukhaidir. It is amazing. Greetings to you.

I hope the government invests money in restoring these old streets with the idea to preserve them. It is sad the state they are in. Iraq has the money, why isn't the government using it? Iraqi people deserve the best after all they have been through. Love from Canada to iraq!

That takes me back to my childhood memories where I grew up in Baghdad till my teen years when I migrated and left. you wouldn't believe it was the same Baghdad had you visited it in the 80s (probably you didn't exist back then), the pubs, bars and nightclubs in El-Sadoon street were hundreds of them opening day and night, till the "religious awakening" of the madman of Iraq back then "Saddam" where he pains the country according to his mood. oddly enough I don't feel missing it lol. thanks for the upload and sharing.

Hi welcome to Iraq I can give you athe right information about the tour you took first al mutanbi is one of the oldest streets in baghdad it is 700 - 800 years old from the abbasic empire and they sell the books for these years 2- al qushla or the (mini big ben) built by the ottoman empire the bricks of these buildings came from the old baghdad walls. That was built by abu jafar al munsur. 3- you missed to see first university in the world. 4-the al shahbendar cafè was bombed in 2007 by armed cars and the owner lost all of his sons and grandchildren

There is nothing wrong with hijab. Hijab is a part of all Abrahamic faiths. Judaism, Christianity and Islam all have form of modesty and beadcovering. To me hijab and modesty are beautiful. And I also wear a hijab. I say this as a Western convert to Islam.
