Alone in Copenhagen Airport, deserted terminal - 15 hours layover

On my way back to Finland from the Faroes I had to wait 15 hours at Copenhagen Airport......because of the times we are living at the moment the airport was almost completely deserted, so I was able to goof around.

Hello :) Are they allowing regular Canadian tourists to pass on airports there? As far as I know, the only requirement is having a negative covid test and doing another (free) test on arrival. There's so much conflicting information online. I don't want to risk losing the flight and having to get back. Or are they only letting pass the ones who have family, etc? I noticed plane tickets are being sold again, so my assumption is that travel is allowed again.

Hello, well to be honest I don't know anymore myself because things change rapidly, I would advice to contact the airlines directly as they have the most updated info.....sorry I can't be of more help :(

@@diego.suomessa On all airlines sites I visited too they are allowing tickets to be bought to these regions without any kinds of warnings, only mentioning that one must do the mandatory covid tests. It doesn't mention anything about North American tourists being forbidden passage for now. So I assume it's everything okay then. From your report of seeing the Amsterdam airport full of people a month ago, it seems like people are travelling normally to me. So confusing.

El año pasado me cancelaron todos los vuelos subsiguientes cuando llegue al aeropuerto de Copenhagen jeje. Me acuerdo que no tuve tiempo de ver el aeropuerto sino que tuve que ir al counter de la aerolinea a quejarme. No me acuerdo si estaba en el counter de British Airways o de American Airlines , seguramente de British porque era operado por BA aunque era un codeshare. Y la sra del counter me decia que no que tenia que pernoctar que no habian mas vuelos por x o por y o que no salia en la lista del vuelo porque me habian hecho un schedule change porque mi proximo vuelos Londres-Miami estaba cancelado. Se metio en la computadora y me dijo que no que era imposible que no podia hacer nada.. y yo le dije ya va... "yo soluciono esto en 5 minutos" le llame a American Airlines delante de ella, la puse en speaker y le dije al agente de AA los problemas que tenia la agente del counter ... y en 5 minutos el agente de AA me los arrreglo por telf y me monto en cupo... para salir los proximos 25 minutos el vuelo... La tipa del counter de CPH se quedo loca.. no recuerdo si era de AA o BA.. fui corriendo despues que chekee en ese mismo counter las maletas alvion y llegue a tiempo.. no me tuve que quedar durmiendo en el aeropuerto o en un hotel!.. Es que no queria perder mi otro vuelo en A380! (Aunque ese tambien fue cancelado), pero me quede en casa de una prima en Londres y me dieron compensacion mas 1 o 2 dias de layover que agarre para turistear por Londres. jeje y claro me monte en el A380! No aceptaba equipment change a 777!
