One of the things I love most about your videos is how you celebrate your own company! I've always prefered being on my own, and I travel and do all kinds of things by myself and people always try to make me feel weird about it. I know they're just projecting their own insecurities, but it can be hard sometimes when social media only shows "living your best life" as being surrounded by others. I just really appreciate how you show that being alone doesn't mean being lonely and wanted to tell you that 💙 You inspire me so much

i’m 15 days alcohol free and i just got invited to a party that made me think about stopping my streak but you talking about how challenging ourselves improve ourselves has single handedly made me choose to be sober and keep challenging myself ! you don’t even know how much you’ve changed my life

As an artist and a woman who has had problems with alcohol (10 yrs sober 1st time,1 year sober now!) I highly recommend the sober life. You have a lot of gifts to share with the world and i would hate to see alcohol take that away! Sounds dramatic but trust me it's a slippery slope for anyone! Health and wellness is where it's at, that is how we find the magic! I love how open you are and your art is FAB! I know you don't have a problem but i know from experience the thievery of joy that is alcohol so i thought id share my two cents! You are wonderful, i love watching your progress, very inspiring!

Darling, January is winter also in Greece , I live on a island close to one you are visiting and it's been so cold last 2 weeks cause it has snowed on the mountains, humidity and rain are winter down here ! You know what they say here in Greece ...every obstacle for something good !

I didn't realise people think that greece is warm all year round haha, but we do have more sun which i'm very grateful for! You guys greece has all 4 seasons, last week it snowed in my city!! the more north you go it's a bit more cold generally and the islands are always windy!! love your videos shayna hope you had a great time in greece! ✨✨

I am at 4 months of not drinking. I made the "no alcohol" 1 year challenge for myself at the end of last year. I made this challenge for myself in committing myself to keeping with my own boundaries that I set for myself. The first thing I noticed is how society connects alcohol to everything. I live in America but there are no cafes that are open after a certain point, but now the great thing is that non-alcoholic drinks are coming out because I think a lot of people are choosing to give up or try to not drink (just so they don't have to feel the hang over in the morning).

I loved these prompts! It felt like we had our coffee and journal time together, haha. ❤️ As for a death; I feel like my "dream job" I had has become a dead thing I keep trying to revive. It's exhausting. I'm scared to leave the stability of the job, but I am definitely being called to other things. I was in Athens for 5 weeks last February and yippeeeeee! you’re right :) Greece off season is so nice… peaceful….it was cold. There was actually a crazy snow storm ! but I fell in love with the city, and I think the crazy hot summer weather would’ve killed me. off season travel is so nice

Commented earlier before finishing the video. I just passed my one year no alcohol in January (after being roofied for the third time in my life - each time by a bartender). I honestly don’t miss it, yet. Hot tea and hot water are my faves. It went by fast. Will for you, as well.

I was just about to say I hope there is a Part Two then I saw that there is. It will be nice to see more of Greece:-) I enjoyed the part about when one door closes another portal begins. It's so true and it was meaningful for me at this time. Regarding the wine, I get the temptation, especially when you are on vacation. The truth is the first 2-3 months are the most challenging, but at this point it would be easy to lose all of the ground you have made and go back the other way. Two months isn't long enough. I'm one who believes that one can sparingly drink months down the road but even then there is always the risk of it escalating again. So it can be rather tricky, a balancing act. Greece is beautiful and I hope our Aquarius girl is enjoying it:-) I found a great smoothie via another KZbinr that I wish to share. I now have it every morning. Take a handful of fresh spinach leaves and place them in the blender, a half of a banana, half of an apple, a scoop of protein powder, and half a bottle of coconut water and pulverize it. It's not only tasty but nutritious. I have it every morning for breakfast. I leave the apple skin on, some prefer to remove it, but I like it left on. Enjoy!

Also, I’ve really enjoyed at “cocktail hour”, either having a small pot of herbal tea (Republic of Tea Blueberry or Rose…yum) or a mix of cranberry juice on ice with either sparkling water or diet ginger ale (I know - bad diet stuff - but you can find legit ginger ale if you like), served in a wine glass is actually just as enjoyable as my former glass of wine. And no headache the next morning. Still feels festive and oh so much better for you. Greece was a dream….hope your trip was great and I’m excited for my print that is coming from you. I have “Vulnerability is My Superpower” on my studio wall, and I can’t wait to add “Things I’d wish you’d say” to my wall.
