Hi Guys , just catching up with Luke on Alone. Can you , or anyone that knows, please tell me what make/model/brand his cooking pot was ? Looked on all the equipment lists that I could find and no mention of it, or anyway to identify it. The "frying pan" lid was really neat and I'd like to get one. TIA. HAPPY TRAILS FOLKS.

you dont want to take a cookpot for this challenge. You can stone-boil 5 gallons of water at a time in a pit lined with the reflective tyvek bivy, which you line with a thick layer of grass, to protect the bivy from the hot stones. make a dipper- bowl out of duct tape, so you can transfer the boiled water into the made-on-site basket, lined with a hunk of the 12x12 tarp. You only need to do this twice per week, as vs 3x per DAY with the 2 qt pot. After 2-3 weeks, you'll have made the five 1.5 gallon each baked clay pots, and be WAY ahead of having the little metal cookpot. You'll of course also have their close-fitting, gasketed lids, and the 50+ bake clay balls as ammo for the slingbow.

when you dont take the right gear, you cant do the right things. You dont want the bow, axe, saw, paracord, snarewire, belt knife, cookpot, sleeping bag, paracord, fishing kit or the gillnet. You want a slingbow, with 3-piece, take down arrows, a saw-edged shovel, a modified "crunch" mulittool, a two person, cotton rope hammock, the big roll of duct tape, the XL size, reflective tyvek bivy, the reflective, heavy-duty 12x12 ft tarp, the block of salt, the pemmican and the GORP.
