We watched Leonardo Dicaprio in "The Revenant" last night. The whole movie looks like "Alone." Long bear attack scene. He also built a stone weir. As for episode 1, I was surprised they showed the arrow in the leg in the preview. Ruined a good surprise.

Yeah, in a river, a weir is the way to go. The weirs built by the native americans on the Oostanaula river are still there today. I frequently fish near one of them. They are huge and stretch across the width of the river. They used them because it was a faster way to catch enough fish for the tribe to live off of.

And it did give it away, but I didn't think it would be shown so soon. I thought it would be later in the season.

Most likely. They WILL NOT let you be in that kind of danger. The moment they saw it ( and he wouldn't be able to hide it long ). But the spot where the arrow went in would have been so hard to care for anyway. He made the best call.

@traceediaz7201 that is why I never choose favorites or try to guess the winner. 1 second stands between injury and victory. Nothing is certain.

​@@CubbersonsCustomBows 2 months is serious, damn. To any couch survivors that said you should of stayed I can't imagine trying to survive with someone that took that long to heal. Crazy. If they do another all star season I hope you get another chance.
