If they do, hopefully they will consider me. I'm not sure how they pick people for the redemption, but maybe they will keep me in mind. I learned a lot the first time. Less than half of a percent, it seems wild. I can't wait until some of the NDA's start to expire and people (if they want to) can start telling more aspects of their story that didn't make the show.

Yeah, I know everyone kinda leaks a little here and there, but to be honest, most of the stuff we did will be left in the woods, lol. Hazel sat down with me when I got home and wrote down everything I could remember. Because she knew thatni would forget a lot if we didn't write it down.

if you did something worth a hoot, it would get onto the show. if you made a mud kiln and used it make charcoal and fire half a dozen 1.5 gallon each ceramic pots and their lids, it would get onto the show. If you made 50 ceramic balls for your slingshot it would get onto the show. If you made a pontoon outrigger raft, it would get onto the show. If you made a 7 piece composite bow, using pieces of wood no more than 2 ft long, it would get onto the show, if you made fishhooks out of the judohead arrow tips, it would get onto the show. If your shelter was made of half of the 12x12 tarp and required no heat nor sleeping bag at 0F, it would definitely get onto the show. If you heated the shelter with large rocks, warmed up outside of the shelter, buried in a row of pits under your raised bed, it would get onto the show. If you made 3 pairs of pants out of the remaining half of the tarp, and the Gorilla tape, it would get onto the show. if you made netting out of the rope hammock, it would get onto the show. If you used netting around a stick frame to catch rabbits, crabs and birds, it would make it onto the show. If you made a raised pole bed in 1-2 hours, it would be on the show.. If you trapped mice with a baited pit, it would get on the show. If you fletched, field-made arrows shafts, wit the Gorilla tape, it would get onto the show.. If you made fire hardened spring engine split poles for lifting snares, it would get onto the show. You dont get onto the show cause you dont DO anything new/interesting.

@user-ci2mn1oy3w I made arrows with grouse fletching and snapped glass, it didn't make it one the show. I made a raised fire pit to heat my rocks for my sleeping bag, it didn't make it one the show. I was dropped late in the day and still had a handmade gill net in the water by first light on day 2, it didn't make it on the show. I showed how to stave thirst with a stone, it didn't make it on the show. No matter what you do, the producers choose what they want to show. If you show a lot of emotion, it will make it on the show. If you show weakness, it will make it on the show. If you have a mental break, it will make it on the show. And if you kill big game or win, it will make it on the show.

That is exactly why. And since I never caught a fish, I guess they didn't want to waste time on me not getting one.

there's only 10 shows, with lots of repeats of past footage, lots of advertising, maybe 45 minutes of screen time per show, 450 minutes total, and 10 of you contestants, The most you can expect to to see of yourself is 45 minutes, if all was equal. The only reason you might get 70 minites in the entire season is if 5-6 people drop out in the first few weeks., If you want some face time, you have to do something new, like take all different gear than everyone else, Llke make just a tent, then winterize later, , Like not take a ferrorod nor use the bow drill. Like stone-boil your water in a pit, and store it in a 5 gallon basket. Like unravel a rope hammock and make thousands of sq ft of netting, like catch birds in a net traps. like make tape and tarp bags, to store food and fire-kits inside of. Take the rations of pemmican and gorp, and take the salt,. Like dip the strips of surplus fish into salt brine to help preserve the food, then buried it in bags under your shelter. Like make other handles for your shovel, to greatly increase it's utility and dig your pits much faster. Like make pits for refining clay and making ceramic pots. show maikig your little tent in 2-3 hours, ditto the raised bed. So the 3 hours needed to winterize it. Show making the producer's tape into first a plowpoibt shelter for a work pavillion. then it becomess part of the shelter, and ultitmately, it becomes a debris stuffed sleeping bag. The plow point is eventually covered with boughs and the tent is eventually covered with wet debris, 3 layers of t, each allowed to freeze. Show how to make and use an alternative Swedish fire torch and the Siberia fire lays, for when all is wet.. There's plenty of stuff that you CAN use to get on TV, folks.
