At the end I have a little list of what I am using. Barnacle are a small geese. Some days they are little higher and those days I use US 2 or 3 and Carlsons Full Choke, but some days you get them very close and I use US 5 and open choke. On Canadian geese I use mostly 1520 fps 38 gram US 2 or 3. And of course I only use lead. Shotguns are made for lead absolutely not steel (not effective, not ethical because to many wounded geese and you can’t use full chokes)

Thanks. Unfortunately in the US we are forced to use steal. Many birds are wounded, I find many Canadians that I shoot have old steel pellets inside there bodies when I clean them. Thanks for the information, good luck.
