Along the Lines - Illawarra Cab Ride (Wongawilli - Unanderra)

Join us today as we chase D34 to Wongawilli Coal Mine to pick up a drop off some empties and pick up a loaded train. We then chase the train to the junction where we wait for an up railmotor service to Wollongong and the down south coast daylight to pass. Then we jump on board for the trip back to Unanderra.

Enjoyed that, great video Allan. Last I seen D34 was sitting in the Lithgow Railway Workshops yard "preserved" about four years ago. Was that a bit of dodgy safe working at 4:03 mark, looks like the driver left the cab and changed the points while the loco crept along unmanned? Couldn't see the co-driver/shunter who would have done that duty.🤔
