During highschool, I vehemently hated history, despite the fact that my teacher was amazing and passionate (dude's name was Mr. Legacy and he was one). I'm so glad there are channels like this that can give us a peak at what happened in the thousands of years before our slice of time.

Small, less populated areas because it meant more people could get away with doing it, therefore was a driving force for more highway robbers to do it, increasing highway robbery

1700-1900 is a general time frame, for what I'm talking about, rather than a specific year guide. The main purpose of my channel is to help people with their GCSE history and the edexcel crime & punishment textbook (which this video is based on) is divided up into sections spanning a couple of hundred years, so 1700-1900 serves as a reference point to where it was taken from in the textbook.
