Aloo qeema recipe Potato and mince stew recipe how to make aloo qeema ka salan
ingredients
onion 1 sliced
tomato 1 large siced
green chili 1 sliced large
ginger julienne cut 2 tbsp
Potato 2 cut in cubes
oil¼ cup
cloves 2
black pepper corns 4 to 5
cinnamon stick 1 ½" piece
bay leaf 1
cumin seeds ½ tsp
ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
mince 500 grams
turmeric powder ½ tsp
coriander powder 1 tsp
red chili powder ½ tsp
chili flakes ½ tsp
salt 1 tsp or to taste
yogurt 2 tbsp
coriander and mint leaves
all spice powder ¼ tsp
Method:
heat oil add in onion and whole spices .
cook until translucent.
add in ginger garlic paste and for for couple of minutes.
add some water and cook.
then add in mince and cook until it changes color (pink to light brown)
add in tomato and other spices and mix well.
cover and cook on low flame until tomatoes soften.
now add in yogurt and cook again with the lid on until oil separate.
add potatoes and cook for 3 to 4 minutes.
then add in 1 cup water some ginger and green chili and let the potatoes tender.
when it's done add coriander and mint leaves and sprinkle some all spice powder and enjoy with chapati paratha or rice.
