@@Notmyname1593 As a Greek, every time I see a person trying to pronounce a word that was lifted up from the Greek language and placed piecemeal in English I enjoy some schadenfreude. Especially with words that are a bit tricky in Greek too like otorhinolaryngologist where even Greeks prefer an abbreviated version of it. Especially stuff like synecdoche, last "che" is supposed to be pronounced as "he" but English doesn't have the "deep raspy H" sound that is associated with Greeks pronouncing "H" (even during laughter), so it was transliterated/transcribed as "che". Seeing others trying to pronounce words like these brings pleasure and frustration in equal measure.

Just a few clarifications, words in Spanish do not have 'multiple pronunciations', just one per word unless it is marked in the same word with the 'tilde', that little mark over some vowels (á, é, í, ó, ú). Spanish is like that, what you see is what you get. Period. So quinoa is pronounced simply: [KEEn wah] and that's it.
