Thanks for the video, Charity. It is so good to see you back in the kitchen. You always did so much of the kitchen prep and baking for your Mom, you are a natural. I am so happy you and Colin have your home in the same town as your parents and grandparents. Y'all have always been so close. I can see by the comments, your grandparents loved your meal. Thanks for sharing and have a Blessed day.

@@WillowsGarden we are fine. You might catch a peek of us in an upcoming snails pace-possibly. Our yard and garden demand a lot of attention this time of year, but the garden is planted so that’s a check off the list. Our next project is getting ready for our month away camping-our 48th year. Our big news is that we will be gaining two new grandchildren. Our son and his wife are adopting two orphans-very sad situation. It will be official this Tuesday! We are blessed with 14 grandchildren and now Collin makes 15. Thank you for asking about us.

Thank you for being such a wonderful influence, it shows in your children and grandchildren. Have a blessed night and day!

What size is your kitchen table, Charity? 🥰

I'm not exactly sure but it can fit about 6-8 people comfortably when I put the extra leaf in it.

I don’t mean any disrespect, I just noticed quite a few words on your grocery list spelled incorrectly. This worries me with my sister homeschooling my nephew and nieces as there are no teachers to correct their spelling. Are you going to be homeschooling any children you two may have?
@ALoopandAHook Жыл бұрын
Yes I am planning on it. I am currently working on my spelling and it is something that I have always struggled with. I am not opposed to getting a tutor or something like that to help with learning spelling for any kids that we might have.
@margaretbedwell3211 Жыл бұрын
You should be so grateful that your sister is homeschooling her children. They will be taught so many great things that are important skills to have in adulthood. I would not put a child in public school today because of the trash they are teaching the children. God Bless your sister for caring what her children are learning. And there is more to life than perfect spelling.

@@margaretbedwell3211 like I said, I meant no disrespect. Was asking because I’m truly concerned about my nieces and nephew. The youngest is 9 and still at a 1st grade reading level, the other is 18 and still considered a junior and my nephew (who actually went to public school and college is in law school). I worry so much about the girls. She kept them home because they live in Florida and the school system there is really bad. I’m in Pennsylvania and love our public schools. My 26 year old graduated college and has a career and my 19 year old just finished his first year of university. I know autocorrect exists but knowing how to spell, read, write and do mathematics is pretty important. I also understand lots of people have certain subjects they lack in. For me it was my speech. I took speech for 7 years and still have many words I can’t say! I’ve followed this family and now Charity’s channel for years (since it was just the 4 oldest) so I’m certainly not trying to be nasty about my question. Please don’t try to make me sound as if I was belittling her. They put their lives on the internet and I feel that gives me the right to ask questions especially when I’m not being rude about them.
@margaretbedwell3211 Жыл бұрын
@@afunk8992 I respect your thoughts on this, but elementary and middle schools today are not what they were when your sister's older child was there. Perhaps the younger ones might need a private tutor, also each child learns differently. Since I do not know them, I will say no more.
