How dear of a man your dad is! I know you are aware of how lucky you are to still have both of your parents. I miss mine, so much, especially during the holidays. Our home is built on the remains of a mining town. I grew up down the road from where I live now. We live behind the church and in front of the school. It is building up since we purchased our land 48 years ago. I love learning the history of our property! I was so excited seeing your treasures! I am a big thrifter too! Enjoy your day tomorrow! ❤❤

Your relationship with him is beautiful and something to be treasured . Seeing you two together actually made me cry because I never had that, with either of my parents, they both died disowning me. I enjoyed listening to your father talk. I'm a Pennsylvania girl who now lives in another state. My family home was just across the field from the Clearfield "Crick". So good to hear the old lingo. My father loved to go for walks and took us girls with him. We all loved the woods. We too once had family land which is now owned and cared for by others. I went to college in Edinboro, Pa and we always had snow this time of the year. In fact we were always concerned if we would make it home for Thanksgiving. Enjoy the season with your family. My mom and I recently completed the puzzle you are working on. It was a fun one! Thanks again for the GF ciabatta rolls recipe. They were easy and came out nice and fluffy and tasty. I added 1 tsp of heat- activated baking powder for some extra poof!

It was nice to see your Dad again! My Dad’s name was Gary. 😊 We had some snow in Lancaster County also. It was the nice kind that didn’t stick to the roads, but was pretty in the grass and on the bushes and trees. Going to look for Charles Wysocki puzzles now! My hubbie and I enjoy puzzles.

I am wondering if you have ever filmed your sourdough process for KZbin? I have been making mine for about 2 years now, but been struggling with it lately. Mine has been coming out too moist & dense in the interior with not as big a rise as it used to have. Not sure if it has to do with my starter feeding process. Yours always looks so lovely, so I’d love to learn how you’re getting such great results. No stress, but if you’d ever share the process I would be tuning in for sure! Hello. No, I have never documented my process on here. It tooks me a good nine months to figure out the best way that worked for me, but I still have times when it doesn't turn out as good as others. Baking bread is like that, I think. Even the level of humidity in the air can impact how well your loaf turns out.
