Emergency button is far away from the operator. This is why. Should be installed on the control panel where is operator are.

i want to voice out too that as NS man for our reservice, we were not allowed to take MC for more than 2 days or less depending on your unit. If we do that it wouldnt be counted into our 10 times recall exercise. The swift and decisive operation of SAF at most do not measure up with those guidelines and measures at all, even though it is inevitable. Causing accidents to occur

My friend is serving SAF and he always tell how much SAF stressed on Safety First and aim for Zero accidents.. but there will always be some guys who think they can “ handle” the job/ situation and doing “shortcuts “.. just because nothing has happened before or yet .. it’s sad to lose life for a lesson to be learned. Hey guys .. I thank you for serving our country and doing your duties but please .. do think about your safety and your life. So basically even if Pang didn' got hurt and somehow got saved, or someone miraculously got well after getting injured, the military would have taken a very strict punishment on Pang. Because he didn't listened to the commander

It’s Metal coffin. The interior is so poorly designed and unsafe for combatants in the heat of war. Typical of the SAF, looks good on the outside but leaves much to be desired inside. Can you believe they are still using 1960s service vehicles for aircrafts.

All present in the vehicle are to accept responsibility of the death, most of it should be attributed to the deceased as he was in the of fire and disobeyed an instruction to keep clear and simply brushed it aside saying he won't be hit. Not following the SOPs is a big No-No. Needless loss of life that can be easily prevented.

In that case, the protocol or the army is at fault. In the context that this is a noisy environment as expected, you can't just shout "Clear" and exonerate yourself from responsibility, from actually making sure that the area is in-fact cleared as this is a matter of life and death of your own comrade. Also I find it plausible that the sequence of events could be inconsistent. How much time has elapsed from the technician acknowledgement to barrel being lowered? The acknowledgement could have been superseded by time of events.

No. It's that the howitzer is too small. Needs to be bigger so that more space for the crew to stay clear of the rammer

Agreed. The M109 is of comparative size but their flick rammer is a pneumatic type and shortened so that when barrel is lowered it doesn't create a kill zone. The PZH 2000 of Germany is much larger and can accomadate larger rammers or longer breaches at the turret ring.

Sounds like it was suicide. He made no attempt to move away from the barrel even when it was moving so slowly. The barrel would have pushed anyone to the side so i'm guessing he must have leaned onto it purposely. RIP anyways

Correction. Aloy thought he was smart ass and refused to move from danger zone until too late. There are indeed "smart", arrogant people like him who think they're superman. Like the Canadian lawyer who purposely ran into the glass wall of his office to prove the glass was strong. Of course, he died after falling out. Glass didnt break but the hinges gave way so him and whole glass panel fell over 20 floors. DUMB DUMB DUMB! Or the China skycrapper climber who also fell to his death in front of his girlfriend who was filming it
