Thank you for introducing that pattern to us! It is beautiful and I am currently knitting multiple baby blankets, and also working in my chart-reading skills. I have just added this to the stack. A fun name I have heard for this stitch is the sand dollar stitch. Thank you Kelley! I vote for the teal this week.

Interesting pattern. Thank you. I have made several items using the 'faux cable' stitch. It is so easy and lovely as you can see in this pattern. I like the Cobalt blue yarn. Need to make a swing cardigan.

I like the pattern you showed us. Just finished a scarf using Sesia Imperial (wool silk cashmere) in Cobalt blue. I like both the colors. Teal is one of my favorite colors and the Cobalt is very pretty.

P.S.: Thank you for the abundance of tips: including adapting the Purl Soho blanket pattern for a scarf or cowl; that lovely rolled edge, etc., etc. I would look forward to "holiday gifts" as a future topic on your Technique Tuesdays videotutorials.

I would love you to talk about holiday gifts. I love both blues in the baby alpaca so I’m not going to choose. Either of them would knit up great! I’m working on Berrocco Marit wrap using Noro. I love how it’s coming out!

Both the blues are gorgeous but I’d pick Cobalt. Purl Soho dyed have good patterns. I’m currently waiting in the Holly White socks from Breaking Yarn in a variegated yarn. Congrats to

What style knitting are you using? Is it continental? I’m thinking I would lose those stitches from the needles with cast over style!
