Engage attacks like Lodestar Rush can only be used once during the 3-turn Engage period. It has nothing to do with the weapon-type advantages and disadvantages. Also, most bosses have abilities like remove their weaknesses to super-effective weapons - that's why your Alear couldn't do any damage to the boss with the rapier. Also most bosses have an ability that prevents them from being broken, so checking boss abilities is important. Also, I've read online, that if you play Maddening difficulty, level-ups are set on Fixed mode - that is your unit level-ups are gonna always be average. I'm not exactly sure how it works myself, but the gist is, units will grow in accordance to their stat growth averages, they will not get blessed or screwed by the RNG. Once you've beaten Maddening once, you unlock Growth mode option, witch gives you the usual, still based on growth rates, but random level-ups.

The way I first learned the weapon triangle back in the day was as follows... "You use an axe to chop wood and lances have a wooden handle" flawless 8 year logic right there.

That scene is so long. The first time I saw it when playing it I was like Oh no this is sad 😭 ... Okay it's not so sad anymore 😐 ... No wait it's sad 🥺 ... You know what? I feel nothing 😑 lol They really milked it.

I really like Engage, its great,but these scene… OMG if it last one more minute, i think I’ll dropped this game forever.
