I think one of the biggest things that we should take from this is that Canada's Wonderland and Premier Rides really outdid themselves with this roler coaster. I mean I knew Premier Rides could probably do this, but it's nice to see that Canada's Wonderland wanted to work with them to see what they could do with the space. And they delivered! Plus this ride looks soooooo cool with it interacting with different pathways and with Wonder Mountain. I really want this ride to be a success for the park, and I think it will. Canada's Wonderland already gets really large crowds, so no doubt that this will be achieved. But yes, capacity will be affected because of the fact that there are only 2 trains and the trains are not really large. I mean the trains on Backlot Stunt Coaster are not the largest, so Idk how the Sky Rocket trains will feel, but I can't imagine they would feel any bigger.

Has to be just about the lowest for any coaster that isn't also a dark ride! I'm sure we'll be treated to a regular accoustic of screams every launch! I think the capacity won’t be too big of an issue, because Busch Gardens and SeaWorld both have Skyrocket coasters that don’t have the best capacity, but their higher intensity level lessens the demand a bit. I honestly wonder if Premier proposed two options: A three train version and a two train. Because the last two bunny hops feel so last minute and almost “autocompleted” that I wonder if they had another proposal with that being a brake section. I wonder if Canadas Wonderland ultimately went with the two train just for budget reasons though. As this is a super large investment.

Wonderland is my home park. I think a lot of people were apprehensive because our only experience with Premier is Backlot Stunt Coaster. I'm excited for this ride but I think the decision to only include 2, 18 person trains is a fireable offence for whoever made that call. This is Wonderland- not Michigan's Adventure.
@amosnider5 ай бұрын
Totally agree, not sure why they did not choose a 24-person train design for a top-tier attraction, that's more in line with Yukon Striker. A 18 vs 24 person train is a 30% increase in capacity while the additional operating expenses for a longer train would have been negligible. Not sure if a longer train design with an extra cart would require dramatic differences in track layout design/costs, with respect to the reasoning why they may have chosen a 18-seat train vs 24-seat train.

@huspy81685 ай бұрын
I have to disagree on the theorized block zones and capacity, I think there's one less block zone and less capacity than you've stated. Premier coasters have block zones set up so the train stops on a pair of slap brakes, which are always located on a perfectly flat portion of track with no pitch. The final brake run seems to be at an incline until it reaches the station, which would be able to host the slap brake as it's a perfectly flat piece of track with no pitch, which means the theorized transfer block may also be part of just the final brake block. In this case, multi move may be needed to get the train out of the brake block fast enough to allow the final brake block to clear before the next train passes the crest of the fire serpent roll. If they were to add an unload to the final portion, it may actually increase dwell time as you'd need to unload a train before you could dispatch the next train in order for it not to set up on launch 2, making an unload only pointless. As for capacity, the ride seems to be just a little longer than full throttle at magic mountain. If we look at premier's website, full throttle has a theoretical capacity of 650 - 700 riders per hour, which seems to be the target capacity premier coasters try to hit across all models. That's a theoretical of around 37.5 trains an hour, which is what I believe they're going to try to hit on this coaster as well. If this is a mistake is something to be seen, but I fully expect for this coaster to have an incredibly long line.
@philhutchings73543 ай бұрын
The reference to storage track... there is a in the mountain tour on KZbin where the premiere engineer who toured folks around specifically mentioned the storage for the train would be in the mountain on a diverted track. Love your take on this coaster. I have concerns as well with only 2 trains and if one breaks down😡😡😡😡 Unfortunately this is not the colour scheme, I believe that will be announced on Aug 16th or 18th, this is a shame as this colour slaps!!! It’s my home park and can’t wait until 2025 opening

For those of you that don’t know, a block section is the safety system that prevents roller coaster trains from crashing into one another

Instead of that short launch and hill at the start, they shoulda done a pre show and a jojo roll into the mountain.

Very much looking forward to this - balances out from the B&M gems for CW, & its location also balancing out crowds a bit. I will have to see for myself how this station functions in the midst of that location - it'll be super busy for a good 3-5yrs at least, & where does it spill over? Best of all - lineups for the B&M's should calm down a bit... CW as home park I'm spoiled.

This will be best new coaster of 2025 until everything else is announced, but for now I bet this is winning.

HE BROUGHT UP THE SIGHTLINES. I am bugged kinda how it looks so I’m hopeful it looks much better when we start seeing actual pics. Regardless of sightlines or not, this ride will be epic. So many unique inversions.

I hope so, it looks incredible. Every Premier ride I've been on is pretty uncomfortable... But I've only ridden older ones. As quick as this thing is blasting through the layout on the POV it could be brutal with some bad restraints.... But hope not, this looks top tier really...

The multifaith space was demolished to make way for the new station. The old building was a station back when the park opened.

What I want to know now is how a block zone starts and stops in the middle of an inversion

With a ride time of 80 seconds from brake to brake, I highly doubt it will hit that max capacity of 60 dispatches an hour. At most, this will send around 800 riders an hour (40/45 dispatches hr). I agree this is the biggest missed opportunity of the ride as I hear the lines get pretty slammed at Canadas Wonderland. As always great content!

My instant thought upon seeing the animation was "That's a B&M coaster" I've been watching your channel for so long I recognize the manufacturers by the rail design. "Produced by Premier Rides" ... I have brought dishonor to my family

B&M doesn't make launch coasters to begin with,

@@BOOSETO Idk if you are being sarcastic or not but yes they do... Thunderbird, Pipline, Hulk, and Rapterra are B&M.
