Alpental - Kante - Shot Six - March 2021

Ski through of Kante and Shot Six at Alpental, under icy and Cascade concrete conditions. Start from Chair 2, ending at the base lodge. This is a difficult run, but often holds powder longer than more easily accessed runs.

Kante used to go much closer to the cliff edge and was actually dangerous. there was a jump near the top where you could look left and see the lodge. I worked at Alpental for years and it is very beautiful place. International at Alpental was the 2nd steepest run in USA and Park City Utah had The Plunge as #1. Very nice run when it's fresh powder but treacherous when Icy.

I tried it on a not so good day and the break over was straight ice I didn’t have the best time 🤣🤣
