In today's MTG 93/94 episode, we are going to enjoy a game of Alpha/Beta singleton. Plague Dr is playing a three coloured deck full of classics, such as Camouflage, Sengir Vampire and Dragon Whelp. His opponent is Neil and he is on a black and red deck. He also plays some classic Alpha and Beta beauties, such as Keldon Warlord and Howl from Beyond.

This is pretty close to A/B pauper and I absolutely love it, these are real games of Magic, where things like walls and life gain actually matter, the game Richard envisioned.

Thanks for covering our match! I had a great time playing these games with PlagueDr. In hindsight, I only wish we'd have been able to find more of our bigger creatures - e.g. Elementals, Craw Wurm, and LOTP!

My favorite card to cast? Armageddon, probably? But I like playing it with Wrath and Consecrate and I never see people play Consecrate

The card-pool never changes, that’s a plus 🤷‍♂️ and in these formats it’s all about slowly collecting and enjoying the journey imo. You can check cardmarket for the current prices.
