I'm always impressed by how well you pronounce the Chinese names. Hardly can tell that you're not a native speaker.

good analysis. tbh i feel like ur commentary might be a bit too advanced for common viewers, but its quite informative. This channel is definitely underrated, should hit 10k sub soon

I mean, AlphaGo is something like professional 11+ dan, so common viewers should've never stepped remotely close

You can always make a professional game appealing to neophytes. Agadmator's chess channel does great at that. The issue with go, is that there are hundreds of moves so you cannot afford to comment on every move and slowly clear out all the options for beginners to fully understand the stakes, otherwise the video would last 3 hours.

at 9:30 would j16 instead of h14 work to build territory.. this was suggested bt commentators at the time.. this was also a move the team seemed to disagree about

Looking forward to the day that I can comprehend everything you say. Loved the video nonetheless.. can you point me in the direction of a good ios app? And maybe some good beginner literature on the game? Everything I learned was from the program the many faces of go, but that was years ago and I think most of it was washed away.

It seemed like they were all thinking, "If these other bozos would just let me decide, we could win this thin..."

at 20:30 why not d2 to reduce

One of the 5 players should be an expert in AI, and should have 1/5 moves. This could be key in breaking the prediction that alpha go can make.

"the 50 games AlphaGo played against himself" Thanks for your vids, but AlphaGo is not a man or woman. They are a computer program or "it" if you''re uncomfortable with assigning personality. Alphago has no "himself" to play against. AlphaGo has a value matrix and processors, which simulate reactive Go play. AlphaGo are a "they" or an "it" or at most a "them". If you're just like, fuckall, then "she", but AlphaGo has never played dagainst "himself".

You're getting a bit over concentrated. Wouldn't want to get cut off with no eyes and sound foolish over trivialities. I'm more than willing to use whatever pronoun is desired when it comes to people, but you've simply lost the plot there bot.
