Great video! Would love to see the team spend a Sunday taking us through what a good basic entry system sounds like and then gradually introduce changes like better speakers or amplifier then wires etc until you end up with reference sound. Given your access to equipment and space I would think you could demonstrate quite easily the scale of improvements as the hobbyist moves from good entry level stuff to reference gear with all the tweaks. Thanks!

Welcome! We mostly measured noise now. But there is a difference in speed, control, etc as well. But we can't measure that... yet.

@oguzoz3008 There is a difference in how fast a power supply can deliver the current. That's the speed I am talking about. Control is how steady it can deliver the current.

It would be very interesting to see a blind listening test to see if the participants could identify the modified power supply.

Have you done benchmark tests on power supply impact on wifi and cable modem routers? I am wanting to change the cheap DC SMPS on my internet devices, but not sure if something like an sBooster is really going to impact the audio equipment at all (DAC and streaming devices are wifi for now) THANKS!!! Great work as always and very appreciated!!

It does have impact. Measurable and audible. Pick the right power supply though. It needs to be fast.

nice, although, must you not have a input and output connected and then measure the noise at the output (analog) ?

We did. The analog output is not connected when we measure network and psu noise.

What about the digital output. What difference does the external power supply have when using the node as a transport?

Mostly the same. But jitter on the digital output is honestly pretty high with the NODE.
