Nice shave Chris. I've owned the Outlaw (Executive Shaving version) for a year and absolutely love it. Executive Shaving call that handle the "Super Grip". They do two other handles/handle types, one is called "Sure Grip" and they released a new handle choice a few months ago called the "Elegant Handle" which is a 10mm longer handle than the two previous mentioned handles. The Elegant handle has a grip pattern a combination of the "Super Grip and the "Sure Grip".

There are three handle options Chris. Super Grip, Sure Grip and the Elegant. I have both the standard and mild Outlaws. I've made a KZbin comparison video using both.

I have the razor to in my den now. Got it used. It's pretty efficient and aggressiv but still smooth. I tend to get more nicks with milder raszors. It's really a nice Razor for sure! Only thing I don't like it's that the blade chatters. Could be a little less for my taste. But still, awesome tool! And well made. Thanks for the video. Greetings from Germany. Jens

@@IAMCDB i think you took the right blade. Maybe sharper blade doesn't chatter that much cause it cuts easier through the hairs. I got my first Biontech shot last Thursday. Caught a cold now. First time in 1,5 years. But getting better now. Happy that i am getting immune against that virus. So i am pretty fine. Hope you're too!

Hi John........yeah, wives and partners are like that!! My missus can't understand why I have 26 razors but thinks nothing of owning over 50 pairs of shoes!! Many of which I paid for as they were a must have!! 🤣🤣🤣. It doesn't however go down very well when I mention the shoes in my defence of buying another razor. Oh yes, this one is quite grippy. It meets or exceeds the level of grip the Rex and new PAA Ascension Razor provides. I think the Rex knurling is a little more refined but the knurling on this one might be the most grippy I've tried.

Hi Chris I have the Executive shaving version of this razor infact you suggested it to me. When I first had it I did struggle a bit with it then I noticed that the blade alignment was out so I spoke to executive shaving who pointed me to a video showing how to put the blade in. This may sound daft but if I was to drop the blade in and tighten it up like you did it wouldn't lign up. I have to put the blade in then press it down and hold it down whilst I put the base plate on and even then I have to check to make sure it's OK. I do prefer a razor you just drop the blade in and go. Another thing I have found blade choice is important in this razor I found Nacet seems to work well and also I find it better if I open the angle of the razor up obviously these are my thoughts and experiences. I did wander if mine isn't perfect but was told they are machined to tight tolerances so it's not not possible. I can only say I have never had a problem alike this with any other razor. The video I referred to is on the Executive shaving website there is a selection of videos about different topics. So pleased you understand where I am coming from I did use it yesterday before posting to check my thoughts and had a good shave but I had issues with the blade alignment then. @@IAMCDB Hi Chris I contacted you re blade alignment on the Outlaw razor 5 months ago and I thought I would update you.I returned the head to be checked and Brian at Executive Shaving has been very helpful. He checked it and said it was O K and sent me a video of him loading the blade. I was excited to receive it back and could not wait to try it . I followed the instructions in the video to the letter and guess what the alignment was way out. I have taken photos of it and sent to him so I am awaiting a reply. It is so frustrating as I really want to like the razor. Have you noticed any blade alignment issues with your Outlaw since our last contact. Very many thanks keep well and keep safe.

Great review! I was hoping to pick up Shark Bite but it’s sold out already. Hopefully it will get restocked because I received a sample of it and it’s great. I normally go for darker scents I have found but Shark Bite is just so fresh and sweet. To my nose on my sample I get more pineapple and coconut than anything else.

Hi Chris, I have the Standard and Mild Outlaw's from Executive shaving. I believe those are made in Scotland. I think Kevy said they were. I have the 3 handle types too. Here we call that handle you have there the Supergrip. I have the suregrip and the elegant handle too. Can you get the elegant handle in the US? Great razors!! Someone said that the audible feedback was like the sound of scraping toast in the bathroom! 😂😂. I find new Feather blades a bit too sharp in them. 2nd or 3rd use is better for me. Hey Dave. I don't see where it says where it's made on executive shaving but that's no issue for me. I mentioned Hong Kong as that's what it says on Alpha's Etsy Page. Here is what the gent from Alpha said in my unboxing: Alpha Brush & Shaving - ΑΛΦΑ Alpha Shaving makes Outlaw for Exec. Shaving. It was a joint venture design. Same razor, different logo. Shave is mid-aggressive - above R89 and below R41. A nice, efficient shave.

I have the mild plate with the Bravo handle. I've tried every blade I own (GSB, GP, Nacet, Astra SP, 7:00 Black) and, for reasons I still can't figure, this razor is borderline harsh and it bites me every time. For reference, my other razors (all RazoRocks) are a Lupo .95, a Wunderbar, a BBS "AS" plate, a .84 and .68 GC, and a v3 Hawk "A". I've tried every blade angle and ridden the cap to the extreme on the Outlaw and still get bitten. Any advice?

It sounds like you're doing everything you can to make it work. About how many shaves do you have with it?

@@IAMCDB I shave once a week with it with varying growth just to try out different variables along with the blades & blade angles. Don't know how I'd confirm/research this, but I almost think I have a standard plate that might accidentally have the "M" on the plate. Though not probable it's not impossible - that would explain the harshness and blade feel. Honestly, my Outlaw makes my Lupo .95 and Wunderbar feel like a Mamba .52

You need to check out the Alpha synthetic brushes, they are very soft and densely packed. I like to think they are the synthetic version of thise fancy high density badgers brushes that I won't buy. 🤣

Glad you liked the Alpha Outlaw. The one I have has a matte handle, but with the same polished head as yours. Alpha was out of the polished handle when I ordered it (about a year ago). I don't usually like mixing metals on a razor, but in this case it looks great!
